Great video
Tavis is a great guy
I thought he was all about drinking oil
Now I like him.
Lately we have been told that fruit is bad for you.
Something so naturally beautiful is bad for our health ??

great Video. looked like 801010. But I noticed he didn't find bottles of oil hanging from the trees. Is drinking oil natural?

wouldn't be ironic that Tavis promotes videos of fruits but then he goes behind the table and drinks glasses of oils?

He drinks oils, ew. Is he one of those guys who pee in strainers to catch those hard rocks that drinking oils gives you?

He is picking up cactuses. Great. He says very nutritious. Prickly pear.

HEY he still drinks oils? we all go through nutty stages. Just because you go through a stage where all you do is do 80 10 10 does not make you permanent 811er for life, we all change our beliefs, its very rare to find happiness in one variation of a raw food diet. Its like a pendulum, people try this try that, all looking for the answer..Most people go through stages and one week they read a book and every meal they have is blended salads so they make a video and then the next week they are all about juice fasting so they make a video...doesnt mean thats what they do all the time right.

What a great video. I used to live in the desert, I picked Mesquite.

You obviously have never had any good raw oils like walnut or pumpkin seed oil on anything for you to say something like that. They are a fabulous addition to the raw food menu.

Lol. That is one of the most ridiculous things about oils I've read yet - even for this site. There sure is a lot of bad info floating around in the woo woo sector of raw foods. Or maybe you are just getting all of everything you've ever heard about oils bunched up and confused in your mind and are really remembering something about the simple minded "liver cleanse" woos who mistakenly think on they are flushing out gall bladder stones. That is a whole different thing than adding raw vegan oils to your diet. You really ought to get this mish mosh sorted out so you don't pass on more woo without knowing what you're doing.

I love this forum.

If you ever wanted to LOL this is the place.

Raw vegans love to laugh and are stress free.

We are still for the book explaining why drinking oil is good for your health.

If you don't want to use oils, great for you. That doesn't mean there aren't many benefits associated with using raw, extra-virgin, healthy oils. Just another stereotypical 80-10-10 religious cult mentality.

Just name one single uno benefit of oil over the real natural food.

olive oil vs olive
coconut oil vs coconut
avocado oil vs avocado

Who ever said that oils were HEALTHIER than the natural food? That's irrelevant, oils can still be very healthy. They may have higher concentrations of phytochemicals or healthy properties (such as lauric acid in coconut oil compared to coconut) as well. If someone wants to use oils, they can do so and still reap many benefits.

suez,

YOU are NOT a nice person and everyone knows that YOU are NOT a nice person, including YOU, unless, of course, YOU are a Psychopath, which would explain a lot.

So tell us suez, do YOU think that YOU are a nice person?

If your answer is Yes, then YOU are clearly a Psychopath by simple definition.

Defense Against the Psychopath (Full length Version)
37:37 Minute Video

…

Psychopaths have No Empathy and, as a result, they are neither truly Human nor truly alive. When they see Normals admiring a piece of art or playing with their children or caring for a pet or any number of Human Emotional Interactions, they cannot understand what all of the fuss is all about. Psychopaths realize at an early age that they are different and that they should Act as everyone else does in order to be accepted into Society. They learn to mimic what they see others do, but they can never understand why they should Act this way. Although they are consummate Actors, careful observation will reveal telltale cracks in their façade. They know enough to fake concern when someone is Sick or to pretend Happiness when some good fortune befalls a friend, but in Situations where the Psychopath has no pre-rehearsed Act, their adlib often reveals a stunning Lack of Empathy.

Unfortunately most of his fantastic recipe videos are no longer available. I'm sure glad I wrote them all down when I was a member of his site.

Here's one which is still online which you may want to try. I usually make a low glycemic version of it and put all the ingredients in the Vitamix to eat as a soup. I can't take the amount of peppercorns he puts in it but I can now take the amount of cayenne which he uses in the video. This is one extremely potent medicinal meal which also tastes great.

".. I can't take the amount of peppercorns he puts in it but I can now take the amount of cayenne which he uses in the video"

As Doug Graham would have said when was the last time humans were so excited eating a meal of cayenne peppers?

Just because you can camouflage it with other foods does not make it a good food.

The dish has too many ingredients.

And avocado plus oil.

How does more oil make us more conductive of cosmic energy?

Thanks for the videos, they are very well made but I could not find an explanation for the oil intake such as avocado plus olive oil.
He does not explain that part or may be I could find it.
He talks about his father, reconnecting with nature, yet oil does not fit in that return to nature.

Most of his videos have disappeared unfortunately. From my own experience I had a lot of trouble with avocados before I went on the Conductivity Diet. I liked them alright but they bogged me down. Apparently, from what I've read, the avocado's fat is "sticky".

When I eat avocados with oils I don't get bogged down. Maybe part of that has to do with the oil's reducing the sticky factor of avocados. Now, after being on this diet for at least a year and a half, I can eat things like raw vegan cheese recipes that include a whole cup of Brazil nuts, without, any overt oils, and have no problems with my digestion at all. My nerves are rock steady and I can meditate for hours without getting antsy like I used to. I like the oils and I can tell they are helping me.

Did you notice how still Tavis is in the last posted video? He's in total control of his movements and they have a natural fluidity even though he is nervous before the camera still. Rare enough but almost unheard of in the fidgety, rather spastic, raw food world, IMO. If you pay attention you can notice that a lot of the raw leaders move their hands, for example, as if the don't know quite what to do with them - like they are some kind of foreign objects. Their hands look and move like paddles, much like infants use their hands, who work with an as yet undeveloped nervous system. To me that points to a visible problem which has yet to be addressed in the low fat vegan world where it is so prevalent.

Suez I love oils! I do. I put them in my salads mostly.

I was talking about the cleanse people yes! You know those guys. They love collecting kidney stones and showing them off.

They fast for days if not weeks, and then drink a cup of oil and wait for the kidney stones to come in strainers. I have met quite a few in my raw food journey, usually at retreats..

I wouldn't quote Doug Graham for anything, he's lost the last of his credibility in my opinion. He always looked incredibly unhealthy for a health guru anyways, but he's going to ride his philosophy/theory into an early grave it looks like...

How did he loose his credibility.
With his books his contribution to healthy living was unprecedented.

-He promotes a nutritionally inadequate, dangerous diet that promotes major deficiencies.

-He has been arrested for fraud (I think).

-He's completely negligent which is not only why he got his chiropractic license taken away but people have almost died and had horrible experiences at his retreats and he takes no responsibility or showed zero interest in helping these people. Then he lied about giving a client her money back and refused to show the bank statements.

Thanks for the info. I did not know.
But I still believe that many of his statements about raw food were correct.
His diet is good as an initial cleansing diet but may not be adequate in the long run.

I'm glad someone on the web preserved this video of Tavis showing and explaining the basic tonics to take daily on his Conductivity Diet. Whatever raw vegan diet you are on you could benefit from adding these to your regime. Most especially in these times of plagues we are entering.

Doug has his FLAWS, but his approach works better than 99% of the doctors for about 90% of the conditions they treat.

Remember, Conventional Medicine KILLS on average 1 person per doctor per year!!!

Good job. Lying slimy weasels must be warned of if the raw vegan world is to have any credibility at all - but most importantly people need to be warned of them because they are a danger to people's health.

That's not saying much, though. That's like saying eating McDonald's is a better approach to surviving than starving yourself. What is his approach, by the way... raw food and juice fasting? People could easily teach themselves in regards to both of those topics with a few days (if that) of research on the internet.

Yes, I believe certain people must be exposed. It's nothing personal against them and I don't like talking negative of people but if what they are saying has the potential to have a negative impact on the health and well-being of others, I feel obligated to call them out.

Absolutely no excuse to rush to the rescue, or not warn of, individual dangerous scoundrels of any stripe - as in this weasel's case. Totally unethical and embarrassingly lame excuse here as ever cried out by rose.

The truth should be transparent universally with people who work in the health care fields. To not out the traitors is unethical and the work of fellow weasels.

If all of the doctors in America, except for ER Physicians, were replaced by people like Doug, even if they had his FLAWS, we would NOT have the Health Care Crisis we have today!!! It still would NOT be perfect because Doug does NOT understand the Art of Healing, but it would be a HUGE improvement!!!
