This is the recipe I'm talking about. I wonder if by pulverizing it into soup I'm ratcheting it up a few notches in potency. Pomegranates alone and in other combinations never do this to me.

The big issue is how to eat it.
It is hard to chew it properly.
And blending destroys nutrients.

"And blending destroys nutrients"

I hear this a lot but where's the evidence?

Pomegranate, yum. I love to have it in a salad.

There was an experiment posted on this forum about someone feeding growing plants with blended water, the plants died. The control group plants watered normally did not die.

Really? No one can be that stupid. Can they? Did they provide pictures? Where is this rare and exquisite jewel of a post? It must be restored to it's well earned glory onto page one of this forum as soon as possible or people with blenders will DIE.

unrefined cold-blended nutrients are best. The oxigen destoys the nutrients. Avoid radiation as it increases free radicals (water breaks into O OH+ intead of the natural O+ OH). Visible color changes due to oxidation (free). If you have money like kunfu master Suez, get a pocket $500 geiger counter for the final inspection winking smiley

That's quite a rat's nest skein of twisted mangled thought hair balls you've got going there, Panchito. Sometimes it's best to throw the mess out and start afresh if comprehensibility is the aim.

I thought you MUST be joking but there it is. I googled this guy and saw him billed as "The Wheatgrass King" at Hippocrates Institute and the one post wonder thread is TSM's!@#$%%!!!

So are those indoctrinated into the Hippocrates Institute version of reality simply taking everything as an absolute truth on the king's word alone? The so called controlled experiment results with water that the "king" spun in a blender which supposedly killed his plants was extrapolated on and everyone just bought into it's idiocy as though it must be a fact for everything spun in a blender?

Is there more to the story or is this incredible nonsense the whole of it?

**Ah I just noticed that you just had posted one post from a different thread and it wasn't in it's own thread. I hate to bring that thread back up to page one but am going to have to.

***That thread is not coming up on a quick site search for some reason. Maybe TSM will see his post here and respond.

Juicing works, blending is questionable.
What we may need instead of blending is to use machine that would slowly grind veggies and some juicers do have homogenizing screen to that.

Like Yogi Berra would have said, I did not say what I just said.

I wonder if TSM has seen this.

If freezing does not damage nutrients that much, this is the time to buy pomegranates and freeze the seed.
Many local stores have it at 2 dollars.

So you've run away to start yet another thread on pomegranates I see...

Anyway, I did a little experimental test and found that the arils do not explode when frozen as I expected them to. I will freeze more to see if the freezing makes the juice taste different or if the freezing seems to lower their potency impact.
