I wouldn't buy it. There is no value to alkaline water. This kind of water is lightly buffered, meaning it doesn't take much acid to make the water non alkaline (like maybe only 1 drop of lemon juice). The benefit people see from drinking "alkaline" water from a Kangen machine is not because of the alkalinity, but because the water from it, which is electrolyzed reduced water, is high in negative hydrogen ions, which make the water into a very high antioxidant water. It is this ability to anti-oxidize that cause the health benefits.

Many fresh fruits are loaded with antioxidants, and a person eating a raw diet high in fruits and fresh vegetables will not need additional antioxidants, that is, provided your lifestyle keeps you away from radiation, oils in the diet, and other oxidizing elements.

There is absolutely no credible evidence that has ever been posted on this site, or elsewhere, that I have yet seen, that raw oils such as olive, walnut, pumpkin seed, chia, and coconut, are anything but good for people. Let's stick to the facts and not repeat hearsay from people with poor digestive systems.

I wonder what the cow eating only grass thinks about raw oils.
Do we need that stuff?

If you want to be raw vegan and have gone pre-diabetic with elevated triglycerides and other bad lab reported changes from too much fruit, like I did, you have to get your calories from fat. As I have said here - many times - not only is my blood sugar now finally back to normal again but my screwed up from too much sugar lipid profile has improved greatly, too, and is now back within normal parameters after averaging between 62% and 65% fat and 100 grams of carbs intake a day for a year and a half.

What do the cows think? I haven't told them yet but I doubt, if I did, they would remember either.

Great points SueZ
So this eating oils is only short term.
Will YOU get back to a natural diet?

Thanks, Prana! It's always good to remember that juicy fruits provide this naturally.

Suez, no one is asking you to not eat fat. If you are going to eat mostly fat, make sure your fat is in a whole food form, not some processed food that is reduced to just one nutrient, fat. Eating oil, which is nearly all fat, is no different that eating white table sugar, which is nearly all carbohydrate. Both these foods are junk food. Both of these two foods have removed all other nutrients, whether it be fiber, water, vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients, so that one is left with mostly a single nutrient.

That's not true at all, oils do in fact contain phytonutrients and vitamins. Olive oil, for example, has a good amount of vitamin E and vitamin K and contains powerful phytochemicals such as oleuropein and oleocanthal as well as phytosterols. This is the case for many different oils. Comparing extra-virgin, raw oils to white table sugar is laughable.

Jtprindl, there may be some residual nutrients left in the oil, but nothing compared to the whole food. For example what is the fiber or water content of oil? Zero.

I'm glad you enjoy your highly processed foods. I'm sure people who eat white table sugar enjoy it too!

"For example what is the fiber or water content of oil? Zero."

So what? You can consume oils and still get plenty of fiber and water from other sources. Overall, raw, extra-virgin oils are a healthy addition to one's diet and there's an overwhelming amount of science that shows this.

"I'm glad you enjoy your highly processed foods"

There are plenty of different ways foods are "processed", it doesn't automatically mean something is unhealthy. Most raw food desserts and recipes are "processed" too, hence why many raw foodists have food processors. Stone-grinding olives into extra-virgin olive oil is in no way similar to processed foods like twinkies or oreos as you are insinuating. You may think all oils are unhealthy, I don't and neither does the science. The biggest mistake we make as individuals is thinking everyone lives by the same principles.

eh? How many scientific studies have I posted on this site that say the opposite of what you said? Why on earth would anybody drink walnut oil instead of eating plain walnuts? I didn't even know walnut oil existed.
