I might be turning fruitarian!?

I'm on my 10th month of raw foods (not 100% though) and I've always been a MAJOR greens & low-glycemic fruit person (like cucumbers & peppers), but ever since I've been taking that zeolite (I'm on my 3rd bottle now) I've been craving sweet juicy fruit like crazy - very unusual for me! I know the zeolite is supposed to make you thirsty so I can understand the high-water content craving but at the same time I now feel averse to cucumbers - they're not sweet enough. Huh.

I have to concede to the fruitarians that they're onto something here, which I previously thought was so weird. Is it possible that we all might really be fruitarian??? The zeolite is supposed to balance the blood pH - zeolite & raw, for me, seem to go hand-in-hand. Maybe a properly alkalinized body just craves fruit?

It's a micro-crystalline structure formed from volcanoes that, with its negatively charged ions, attracts all the positively charged toxins in the body - kind of like how a charcoal water filter cleans water - that's my understanding of it anyway.

There are lots of distributors - I picked one that was associated with raw foods - www.livesuperfoods.com, just because I would trust a raw foodist more I guess. Have gotten really good customer service.

Thanks for the info. Did you find out what your body's ph was before doing this? If so, how do you find that out?

No, I didn't find out but now that you mention it I think I'm going to! -- find some pH sticks and test it out, see what happens. I've seen mentioned on this board people using saliva test sticks to measure their pH, it sounds pretty simple.

Hi Sunshine79! I feel like I'm turning Fruitarian too lately! a mainly fruit diet does speak the truth to me.

I feel theres a reason nature designed fruits brightly coloured and attractive - so we would eat abundantly.. and why nuts are hard to crack and blend in with their warm earthly tones - so we would eat more sparingly..

Seems to make simple sense to me

Hey Frutarian One,

I love your forum (haven't joined yet though) and I have been working out with resistance bands....what a difference I'm seeing in how strong I feel.

The last time I went raw, in my third and last month before I fell off the diet, I swam 5 days/week for an hour. This time, I will be walking mostly. I had to give up my gym membership since their pool times didn't fit my schedule.

That's how I started working out at home with the exercise bands.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks for having such a cool site at
rawfitnessandoutdoors.com!!
