Date: February 19, 2015 03:38AM Today, it was romaine, carrot, arugula, italian parsley, walnut, tomato, green pepper, spinach, red onion, tomato, hummus, walnuts.
That's all. I did not intend for this to be a calorie-restricted day but I was too busy to eat more. Fruit will have to wait for tomorrow. I am too tired. Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)

watermelon, red grape, gala apple, tangerine, red grapefruit, valencia orange, pineapple, 1 tsp grated coconut (fresh) salad: romaine, cherry tomato, onion, clover sprouts, arugula, green pepper, red pepper, carrot, walnut, hummus snack: I was out with my next-door neighbor and her grandkids. We went to Planet Smoothie and she sneakily ordered me pbj + banana+strawberry+mango in a jr. sized cup for me because she wanted me to taste it even though I said I did not want anything (still full from my salad). I did not know that was coming and felt I could not refuse. I noticed that they use Blendtec blenders and had very little in the way of veggies. If you want greens you have to pay $1 extra and they used powdered beets instead of real beets. But the smoothie was good. Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)

Date: February 22, 2015 03:20AM Ditching the lunch time seed sprouts and will do fruit and more greens all day until dinner time. Apricot season is almost done...hundreds of of them have been eaten and hundreds more will be eaten over the next 10 days, but will be glad to get back to low fruit again. Wednesday evening l will pick up 3 large boxes fromthe local organic farm and will eat them all during a week and call it quits again.
Lunch - buckwheat greens (large tray) - garden weeds - lots of spricots The brain never works near as well on the higher fruit diet..give me the sprouts any day. Still, always good to take advantage of the coloured fruits while summer is on, +it cleans you out in a unique way. Garden weeds Buckwheat lettuce Some fruit l picked up this afternoon from the local farm, water melon and apricots. www.thesproutarian.com Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)

I may not post another picture again, but was curious what TSM thought of the quality. IF it was picked this morning, isn't that good? THis is my stash from today's farmer's market. Date: February 25, 2015 07:56AM Continuing the fruitarian daytime cleanse. I do much better on the sprout diet, but l shall do this for a little while longer and clean out. I always do mono fruit meals so l can get the full taste of the fruit without mixing up my taste buds....eating mixed fruits is too disturbing for my liking....must keep a peaceful mind that is focussed.
Bought some more fruit from the local farm. Date: March 07, 2015 06:23AM Apricot season has just ended and these are the last water melons and tomatoes I will be able to get from the farm for the year because little creatures ate the root system out in the tomatoes and the farmer lost most of his plants. Got some new apples for the season and they taste wonderful.

Date: March 29, 2015 06:21AM TSM, what is your plan for the apples? HOw do you consume them? Juice them? Do you eat them and if so, do you always eat the peel? Have you ever tried Lou's lemon ginger blast? Lemon juice, ginger juice, apple juice, fresh raw hot pepper juice and other greens juiced. Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)

That idea buzzes me right out, it goes right against my eating principles on every level. I could never rationalise consuming or promoting such a drink in my wildest dreams, it is pure alien thinking to me....l really don't understand it at all. I prefer simple combinations, but to me these Lou drinks are just disaster zones leading one to be lost in the wilderness due to all these mixing of energies (confusing imo) and dubious combinations and going against my principles of simple eating and avoiding gorging on a wide variety of foods like a King. To me it still demonstrates a `lets have it all SAD mentality' and l want nothing to do with it. Animals eat simple, yet humans seem to want to eat every food under the sun in one meal. I will never understand that type of thinking, but if people like eating that way and get healthy then l guess it is going in the right direction to a certain extent. Truely though...l think these fancy mixtures are just lost at sea...it's bridging the gap between addicted raw vegans who haven't make a complete break from the SAD mentality. I could be wrong on these things, but that is the way l feel. www.thesproutarian.com Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)

These health gurus are doing fine because of other things they are doing right not because of these dubious combinations. Ginger and pepper are medicines and should be used in situation for correcting a disorder, not something to drink every morning. Unless one is perpetually sick. Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)

Date: March 29, 2015 08:56AM Always mono fruits for me in their whole state. I would never blend, juice or combine fruits because l consider this a tragic waste. Fruit can be easily eaten, so no need to juice them like with greens and other foods. www.thesproutarian.com Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)

For most of us, we still need the dressing made with blended fruits, onions, garlic, peppers over our salad. Sunflower micro greens may not be eatable raw without the seeds or fruits dressing. It is not the optimal approach but it is the best for most. Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)
