They trust you and are not afraid. That is the way things should be And will be at the end of times. Wild animals will trust us. Now they are afraid for their lives. "The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them." Date: May 28, 2015 08:25PM I was going to make a raw cake for my birthday, but after a rather stressful weekend have pretty much lost my appetite. All I could get down today is juice, pasturized juice at that (I had a craving for mango and the fresh ones around here are no good right now). Have been off the wagon a bit lately, but it is not in all a bad thing, if at all. I found amusement in how my tastes have changed and that when it comes to cooked food, often it's the texture I find most attractive but not as much the taste (unless it is loaded with salt). Processed sugar tastes okay but can't compare to really good fruit to me now. I also have lost my taste for garlic and chocolate! And I prefer my food with less seasoning - I still like a little cumin, basil, etc but that's just it... a little. Plain raw foods have yet to become "OMG, AMAZING!" to my tastebuds but I can definitely say I'm growing less interested in cooked or even heavy raw foods. I really can't call finding such awareness a failure. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 05/28/2015 08:27PM by Manta91. Re: What's on your RAW menu? (v2)

Date: May 30, 2015 11:37PM Black Muscat seeded grapes. These are my favorite grapes. Ordered a box of these of course. A total luxury and indulgence. I love seeded grapes, and these are the yummiest seeded grapes I know. If you know any yummier grapes, please kindly inform me.

Date: June 02, 2015 01:46PM Cherry limeade is just cherries and limes. I used to (forever and ever ago) get a drink at Sonic by the same name that was some kind of soda (surely artificially flavored) that was always so good in the summer. The raw vegan version is much better than I remember the SAD version though:
-3 limes (juiced) -3 cups of pitted cherries (I like to freeze them first) -And a 'glass' of water (I use my big drinking glasses instead of a measuring cup so not sure exactly how much in cups, but a good amount of water to make it like a slushy-conistency) The raw pizza crust recipe is here (not my recipe, but it is really yummy!): [www.rawmazing.com] I made my own sauce though, out of red peppers, tomatoes, onions and some italian spices Re: What's on your RAW menu? Date: June 03, 2015 02:31PM What I've been eating:
- apples - oranges (I can still find good oranges) - local strawberries (around 2-3 kg/day) - local cherries (around 2 kg/day) - local heirloom tomatoes - as many as I want, whenever I want, I eat them like apples, they are soooo good, I could go on a sweet summer tomato island - local cucumbers - local zucchinis (not all are good and firm for noodles, but they are slowly coming into season now) - zoodles with zucchini tomato dill sauce - summer salads: butter lettuce with coloured peppers, lemon juice, dill; coloured peppers, lemon juice, dill; coloured peppers, cucumbers, lemon juice, dill; cucumbers (either in the form of slices or noodles) with tomatoes; plain tomatoes - carrot and zucchini noodles with zucchini tomato dill sauce - restaurant lunch: raw vegan platter (carrot noodles, zucchini noodles, tomato slices, sweet red pepper strips, with a side dressing of plain lemon juice) and a freshly squeezed apple orange juice, decorated with an apple slice Starting today I plan on making my delicious raw tomato soup (with our local sweet summer tomatoes), in which I want to add carrot noodles, zucchini noodles, cucumber cubes, tomato cubes, cubes of our local bell peppers (they are so tasty), fresh dill. I've been waiting for this soup the whole winter, it tastes the best with summer tomatoes ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Raw vegan for life. Date: June 04, 2015 09:56AM My menu for yesterday:
- 5 apples (breakfast) - 2 kg cherries (lunch) - some more cherries throughout the day and during last night (snack) - my delicious raw tomato soup (with our local sweet summer tomatoes), in which I added carrot noodles, zucchini noodles, diced cucumbers, diced local bell peppers, fresh dill (dinner) The soup was great, so good and filling. I made 3 large portions. For the soup I used 1 bell pepper, 1 small zucchini, 3 small carrots, 1 kg cucumbers, 1 bunch of dill, lots of tomatoes. I didn't add diced tomatoes, as I ate the soup with whole tomatoes on the side. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Raw vegan for life.
