Anyone having trouble sprouting Bolivia/Sth American chia lately?
Date: January 23, 2015 09:39AM

Have bought various bunches of the Sth American chia from various places and all of it is a disaster because some lots have a highly uneven sprouting rate and other lots have only a 50% germination rate. Anyone else encountering problems with it?

Bolivian chia has always been very high quality, but none of the stuff is any good for sprouting for the first time in memory.

Am trying the Australia chia, and if that doesn't work l am in BIG trouble because it will mean having to consume non sprouted chia, and that is a real bothersome thought. Chia is one of my main foods with 27 tablespoons had per week (9 tablespoons sprouted every second day) and my body misses it.

Anyone having problems with it?

Does the U.S.A grow chia at all?
