Date: March 01, 2015 07:09AM I was 19 when I went vegan. Attending my first Earth Day celebration was a huge wake up call. I learned so much about environmental issues relating to meat production.
I started out reading Diet for a New America and volunteering for John Robbins's Earthsave organization. I was so moved by his compassion. I started out in raw food learning from the the books, tapes and videos of the herbalist JOhn Christopher. How about you Tezcal? Re: how old were you when you started your health journey?

Date: March 01, 2015 01:25PM Over 12 years ago when I was 18.  I'm so glad now that I started relatively early compared to most people. Then raw vegan when I was 34. Now I'm almost 36.
