Storm, how can you live with your father without him noticing how bad off you are? Is he an oblivious alcoholic or one of those old fashioned guys who keeps you locked up in the attic or basement? Obviously you can't be living by yourself. Do you have anyone that visits to look in on you for wellness checks?

that's perfectly fine.

Decades ago I knew someone who brought a cat home from a pound. She said she chose that one because it seemed very affectionate. To me it seemed like something was wrong with it because it kept pushing it's front paws up against her constantly. Eventually the person tried to train the cat to leaver her alone sometimes because it became too much for her to take. The cat didn't like that and demanded her attention constantly. If it didn't get constant attention it would bite her. Hard. Finally the person brought the cat to a vet and was told that most likely the cat had been taken away from its mother too soon and what it was doing with all of the paw pressing was trying to get milk from anything that was warm. That is all it could ever think of it seemed - getting it's mothers milk which it was taken away from too soon. Storm reminds me of that cat.

I don't doubt it and it makes perfect sense. Unfortunately, tragically,for a few generations, (in the US at least) an enormous population of human babies were bottle fed so that cat's behavior was understandably misunderstood by such a population.
