But Paul Bragg did not live that long either, he died at 81
Did not he incorporate animal products?

Well I also have a bias towards the Wild. In all my travels I have never found the Wild Romaine lettuce though I have looked high and low. Why doesn't Nature produce our "natural" diet of fruits and vegetables, (and beans) if it's truly "natural" like it does for EVERY other organism?

If a vegan went out into the landscape and tried to eat what is available, they would die. Are we farmers/gardeners by design? Not trying to hate, these are things I ponder continually...

It is normal that you ponder over issues of domestication and evolution. But think for example about your non vegan centenarians and ask if they were living in the wild or enjoying the advancements of society like agriculture. Your arguments are cherry picked as no centenarian exists or existed without modern agriculture. Thus, you cannot exclude vegans from your centenarian imaginary circle of natural but include those that eat animals AND plants.

"We" depends on when and where and who.

we ate all kinds of diets through our evolution, by necessity.

in the right tropical environment we, today, could survive on
fruits and plant matter as other primates do with very minimal animal matter.

we don't climb so well now which presents a problem but haven't you ever seen robert lockhart climbing ? he's in his 70's .

and did you ever read the book girl with no name? lost in jungle, survived by living with monkeys - i think it was all or mostly plant matter, and she climbed with them.

nunativs - are you regularly eating animal foods? which ones?

Yes, Paul Bragg died at age 81. As far as I know, he seemed to be in good health at the time of his Florida death. I tracked down & talked by phone to one of his granddaughters---a lady now in her late 70ties---several years ago. She told me, among many other things, that Paul used to dress her little Shirley Temple-style with the cork-screw curls, and she did a little song & dance act as part of his Los Angeles area health lectures! This would have been in the early 1940ties. A very nice lady.
