Date: March 23, 2015 05:00AM According to E3Live, "Approximately 7-12% of the vitamin B12 in E3Live is bio-available".
E3Live BrainON contains 2,570% RDA B12 per tablespoon (1 serving), meaning 1 TBS provides between 180% - 310% RDA of B12. Great super food, especially for vegans. Why spend money on B12 supplements when you can use E3 Live and get a host of other benefits such as lots of phycocyanin, chlorophyll, PEA, and nucleic acids? [www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov] Effect of a Klamath algae product ("AFA-B12" on blood levels of vitamin B12 and homocysteine in vegan subjects: a pilot study - "Compared to the control period, in the intervention period participants improved their vitamin B12 status, significantly reducing Hcy blood concentration (p=0.003). In conclusion, the Klamath algae product AFA-B12 appears to be, in a preliminary study, an adequate and reliable source of vitamin B12 in humans." With a healthy gut (rich in probiotic bacteria and producing intrinsic factor), AFA looks to be a promising source of B12 for vegans. More studies are needed for verification but again it looks promising. Re: E3 Live & B12
