Date: December 30, 2006 07:46PM Does anyone know where I can get black sapote fruit in the Chicago burbs? Not something that seems to be prevalent in the produce sections around here. I've always wanted to try it. Or, is there someplace I can order it from?

Date: December 30, 2006 10:16PM You can try ordering from "Robert is Here" fruit stand, Homestead, Florida, if it's in season.
You may like to know in advance that it's not a very sweet fruit, however the texture is like chocolate pudding. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
