I am trying to suss out this Thai Fruit Fest drama
Posted by: banana who ()
Date: May 28, 2015 04:47AM

Bracing myself for the "OMG you are GOSSIPING!!!" nonsense. In any case, this morning I watched Freelee mention that a certain "flaky" raw vegan will be going over there and that she didn't want any flakes to participate. Oh and that they were fake AND flakes. Acting nicey-nice online and different in person? In any case, I find it hard to believe that a frenemy would travel 1000s of miles to get dissed in person by DR and Freelee but you never know...

Why do they constantly attract or cater to drama? It's like everyone is against them or the other way around.

Using drama is their main strategy for attracting more Youtube hits.

Why would anyone be curious as to why you, a fiftysomething non-vegan, would come to a raw vegan support forum and gossip about 2 non-raw people who are 20 years your junior? Through threads like this, your contribution to the support of people's nutritional journeys is immeasurable and precious. It makes perfect sense that you're here doing this. I couldn't imagine a topic being more germaine to this forum's stated purpose. Thank you for being you.

First of all, I am not 50-something but I find it interesting that you hide behind not gossiping as proof of how well you treat people. Absolutely rich.

When people air their dirty laundry on social media which goes around the world, they have abdicated that right to privacy. It's like the teenage girl who announces that her boyfriend broke up with her on Facebook and when someone happens to see it who is outside her social circle, she says "That's private!"LOL...At least a teenybopper may be so used to the Internets that she has forgotten how public it is. But Freelee is a grown-ass woman and knows that she has the option to keep mum about personal matters if it's that sensitive. You open yourself up to others discussing it when YOU discuss it via videos. D'oh!

Prana, I try and keep that in mind but sometimes it does seem like reality seeps in now and then. I could see a couple of people that Freelee has targeted in videos going over there to stir things up...winking smiley

Like I said, you're doing important, profound work here. No need to sell me on how crucial you are to offering support to would-be raw vegans. You make perfect sense. Please continue with this vital work. Billions of animals get horribly abused every year. Millions of humans suffer needless health maladies because of their diets, but you keep us topically on point by gossiping about who's going to show up at an obscure festival on the other side of the planet. Once again, thank you.

Oh, and sorry about the age slip-up. I would swear that if I took the time to search the archives of this site that I would find a post where you claim to be in your early-mid fifties. But you're not an utter fake at all. I trust you when you say that I'm mistaken.

I am 49 and will be 50 this year. I believe you are two years younger than I am. Why this is pertinent info is puzzling but not really. It plays into the idea of a woman having to be a certain age to be viable.

From John Rose:

1. They desire to make someone else suffer

A bitter person might spew their inner hurt and anger by saying and doing things that hurt the feelings of others, exhibiting ruthless verbal and emotional cruelty.

Somehow, it makes the bitter individual feel better for a minute to see someone else suffer as they perceive themselves to be unfairly suffering.

2. They are full of vindictiveness

Frequently on the lookout for perceived slights, bitter people often invent ways to get back at those they view as having neglected, mistreated, disrespected, or ignored them.

It is truly amazing how people can waste time on negative emotions like that. Happiness is a choice--I don't care what anyone says. smiling smiley

Yes, you are perfectly right as usual. I can't repeat enough how important what you do here is to people's health journeys. You're so peaceful to boot! It's not like you started this thread by attacking people (negative emotions much!?!) out of nowhere when you mentioned "nonsense." You weren't immediately on the offensive at all. It's only bad when other people do it. And your eye for wink-wink satire/teasing is so keen! Oh wow! You're just an innocent little lamb who wants to see the world be a better place. Awwwwww...I'm buying what you're selling!

If someone disagrees with you, just call them a psychopath. That'll shut 'em up! Why bother actually addressing their point? Golly, I learn so much from you that's so good.

Good to see the small bully boy group is sticking together and attacking people for harmless comments or questions - a bit like Doug and Harley's censoring. On the other hand, Prana didn't seem to find the comments so offensive that he actually replied to the topic!

Just curious about our holier than thou small bully boy group?

When you buy your raw vegan food do you enquire about who grows it, or are you quite happy to enrich all the animal killers that grow the fruit you eat - or do you take a stand and only buy your fruit from vegans, or do you even care?

Did vegans produce the computer you use to ventilate your holier than thou morals, or are you happy to buy computers off anybody, as long as it suits your purpose? Does it matter if your computer or IPhone was made in a sweat shop? What about your Internet provider? Are they vegans? Your car? The petrol you use? Your clothes? Your electricity provider? It's what I call selective hypocrisy. It's one thing to believe in something and promote it, but when you're just as complicit in enriching those people who are doing the things you are attacking it's a bit low to claim the moral high ground.

Banana Who didn't advocate eating meat in her post, so why attack her for no reason?

wow. i agree with BJ

and DR and FL seem to be losing the plot.

posting videos saying that people have insulted them without even showing any evidence.

now they are saying if you're flaky you shouldn't come?
any other requirements?
does she think that someone is going to watch the video and say, yeah, that's me, i'm flaky, i better not go.?

Who's sticking together? I'm an army of one and proud of it. And please, proceed with the fascinating and highly relevant discussion as to whether or not some unnamed person is going to attend some minor festival in Thailand. I can't wait to read what's next! Hey! Maybe some non-vegans can come around and start threads about Milton Berle. That would hold the same amount of relevance as this topic.

It's quite obvious that DR and FL have done Marketing 909 ( PhD level) and are applying it's principles.

Rule 909/1: use whatever god given assets you were born with to your advantage. In their case it's great genetics and great metabolism ( while they're still young, just in case ), even if you don't have much substance. Tennis players, golfers, sportsmen and models make millions out of their bodies - so why not them.

Rule 909/2: be as provocative, shocking and egregious as you can be to get people talking ( and most importantly, watching ).

Rule 909/3: use the cliff-hanger and the tease. Keep them wanting to come back for more.

Rule 909/4: always remember, the mean$$$$ justifies the end$$$$, as long as the clicks keep clicking over

Rule 909/ 909. Bonus rule.

If you can attach yourself to a '' worthy cause '', that will put you at the top of the list.

Disclaimer: I don't watch their videos or get any commission from their hits!!

they must really be taking a lot of abuse if they say they are going to kickbox people they don't like out of their thai festival.

Many folks are influeneced by marketing 909 because they haven't got to know their true selves yet. There comes a time when marketing no longer works on a person.

From above that city looks extremely polluted. They are probably sucking in a lot of toxic fumes riding bikes there. No thanks on that kind of "fun" for me. Let's hope that horrible haze is just fog.

Apparently there were some allegations of sexual harassment. Some guy who shared his house to girls was giving them massages they didn't request.

And durianrider/freelee were aloof with the guests.
