Telling us your result isn't any good unless you tell us your real age. For example, if you ARE an under-20 schoolgirl, I'm not particularly impressed, but if you're a 55 year old woman, that's another story. So, what's your age?

No it just gives me some perspective on what you've gone through and how you understand the aging process. It also gives me help in picturing you. All I know is that you're a guy with a porn-star name (Gary Orlando). There's nothing to be ashamed about and I promise that I won't use it against you. I'm about to turn 48 and the test said that I have the fitness of a 36 year old.

they seem to think the test is very accurate, but i'm not convinced.

always nice to get a good result with these tests anyway.

i am same age as markus.

Why because you're low-fat/high-fruit? That plan hasn't worked for me but I've been around enough to know that what doesn't work for one can still be good for another. I think that we all know this, yet for some reason you guys choose to argue over which diet is best, as if it's not individually based.

I just took the fitness test. It says I have the fitness level of a 36 years young person.
And I am 36.
So I'm ok smiling smiley
However, it says that I'm expected to have a fitness level of 40 VO2 MAX.
And I have the fitness level of only 39 VO2 MAX.

Their advice is the following:

"GET GOING NOW! Your fitness level is between 85 and 100% of what is expected for your gender and age group.
This means that your heart's capacity to transport oxygen is poorer than normal, which increases the risk of dying prematurely from cardiac disease.
Luckily, exercise gives immediate results. If you manage to get your fitness level up to 43, you will reduce your risk of dying from cardiac disease the next 20 years with 20%.
IMPROVE YOUR FITNESS NOW!
How do we know all this?

I do no exercise (I only have a daily work-out for 10 days twice a year, when I go to my kinetotherapist). I just walk outside in the sun and carry my food haul from the farmers market smiling smiley
