Vegans are too weak and too low energy to train. This guy is CUCKOO CUCKOO.

Is there even a grain of truth? I mean, maybe he had one guy, ever, who was vegan and was weak.

Everyone has an opinion. We all have assholes too.

Someone said he wasnt eating enough fruit. OMG.

This video reminds me what cooked fooders are like. Scary. I need to open my eyes up more to the world.

THE GUY IS DOING HANDSTANDS DOWN ANCIENT RUINS

There are weak and frail omnivores and there are probably weak and frail vegans. Everybody doesn't lift and doesn't eat properly to maintain muscle (and that's okay! maybe it's not their goal!). This isn't limited to vegans. I'm positive if I didn't have bodybuilding knowledge and eat at the right times after my workouts that I wouldn't have the muscle that I do. I typically weigh about 10-15 lbs. more than people think, all solid muscle.

Gaining muscle on a vegan diet, or in general, is very easy if one consistently lifts weights and eats enough calories, and of course, protein.

I didn't watch the video, nor do I even know who "Ido" is, but for some reason I doubt he is stronger than this man: [www.greatveganathletes.com]

It's possible to be a great athlete and vegan, but there's a certain level of muscle bigness that I automatically associate with steroids. I could be wrong of course.

Feel free to focus on improving yourself. I don't have any before or afters, nor would I show a random internet group photos of myself unless there was something in it for me.

oh, yes, i do, i do !

a couple people here commented on how easy it is, hence my interest in them showing us how easy it is.

yeah, I don't find the general people on here classy enough to handle a picture of a fit woman.

I can handle it. I am not an athlete. I spend most of my days on the grass in the forests out here. On a blanket, but if I were to show you guys all my body I am sure you guys would say nice. I am very skinny.

But just because I am skinny does not mean the clouds opened up for me and I have attained greatness. Men still ignore me when I walk by. Like I do not exist. WHen I go to Europe they all paw at me, try to grab me, go OO la la...but not in the states. So I guess beauty and what men think are hot is relative.

Waking up and having a body thats amazing, doesnt get you things. You are no different. Men stare at my boobs when they talk to me sometimes. I got implants so the turban wearing waiter can stare at me, I guess so.

My fantasies are rampant though. I wish I had lovers all the time. But just because you are skinny doesnt change anything, if you were lonely before you will be lonely after.

Men in the United States aren't allowed to "paw" at women. They would get arrested. Saying oo la la is politically incorrect. Maybe a man would get sued for harassment if he said that. So, it might not be that men have different tastes in Europe but a different culture. I also know that in Europe the cultures differ from country to country. You would probably get treated differently in England than you would in Greece.

I wouldn't say that being "skinny" is hard, though. Being muscular is a different story.

utopian life,

so are you saying you are a woman, have big muscles but are hesitant to show them?

That's interesting because I typically weigh about 20 to even 40 pounds less than what most people think I weigh and that's because I too am solid muscle with very little body fat. I could easily weigh 15 pounds more and still be slim at ~15% body fat, but then, I'd have those big fat puffy muscles that most weight lifters have because most of them have more subcutaneous body fat.

I think it's because I am a smaller size and if I have a lot of clothes on they can't tell how toned I am. But obv muscle weighs more than fat, so if a woman same size/general size as me doesn't have much muscle, she's going to weigh 10 to 15 lbs. less (approx.).

"Big" is subjective, but definitely more toned than the average person. Not monstrous but clearly strong.

It's not hesitation so much as it's not even a consideration, the answer is no.

Coconut, I had a boyfriend obsessed with fake boobs. So much so that if a woman didn't have fake boobs, he'd say she didn't have any boobs at all, like he could only acknowledge implants. Too bad you're taken. lol

seems to me you're making a big deal out of nothing. you don't even need to show your face.

you think people are going to freak out because you have a few muscles?

that's not it. it's because you don't want to be criticized - same reason most people here don't show their pictures.

that's fine, doesn't matter to me. it's just interesting to see other lifters on various diets to me.

and that patrick baboumian! - totally ripped in one pic, then chubby in the next.

I don't think anyone would freak out and if they did, it's their problem. "Don't want to be criticized" - well, just by merely existing, we are criticized. But some on this board are viscious and have vendettas I don't care to involve myself in. I have a busy life and career and surround myself with positive folks smiling smiley

LOL - I have vendettas against all those who tried to, and succeeded in, shutting me and the political talk down on the board. And more recently - anyone who actually insulted me. They shall remain nameless, but you know who you are tongue sticking out smiley

I don't go for the two-faced thing - where you act like you're all friends with those who done-you-wrong - or those whose character you don't like - and you make like you forgive and forget, but you don't forget and inside you're still carrying it around. Now that's just plain hypocritical. Where's the self-respect. To thine own self be true. It's called discernment - choosing who to associate with as opposed to trying to be popular and keep coming back for more.

That's one reason the board is so inactive - most people left because they didn't like most others on the board, the inane conversation, the bickering and insulting - plus they have a life.

I would not call myself vicious, though - just principled - LOL

Probably not, hon. Most of it was way back in 2008, from the Other Topics and Political Forums. "Lois" was banned from the board in January of 2009 - thanks to a concerted effort to squelch the dissent. Suppression of free speech.

oh, okay. smiling smiley I, too, am not on here frequently due to the name calling of a couple people who won't stop going back and forth. It's also like "People magazine" Raw Version sometimes. lol Nice to meet ya!

Yes, I remember you're also not a fan of gossip about YouTube celebrities - it's gone beyond gossiping, now, morphed into another dimension - LOL

If you're so positive then why are you always telling people in this forum how negative they are? Isn't that negative in itself? Why do you hang out here at all? I thought that you like to surround yourself "with positive folks?" And why do you provoke this alleged negativity by claiming to have this muscular bod that you won't even show? I would gladly post pics of myself here, face included, but the truth is that after a long, middle-aged winter, I'm simply not that ripped right now. At my age, I often wonder if I ever will be again. That doesn't mean that I'm not healthy. It just means that I have no business acting like a fitness model at this moment. Just being honest!
