Date: June 25, 2015 08:41PM My poor husband works nights 2X a week. I would definitely take some fruit to work so you can get that sugar-energy mid-shift without needing caffeinated beverages or processed foods. Be sure you list everything you need to do the next day before you head into work and if possible, prep your first meal of the day so it's easy to eat when you wake up. Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep and invest in a sunrise alarm clock if it will be a long-term position (which simulates the sun rising and helps people who are on non-natural work schedules not to ally screw up their circadian rhythms).
