Teas in moderation are ok.

I recommend red tea also called Rooibos over green tea because it is caffeine free.

My experience is that the further along the raw path I go, the more sensitive I get to poisons like caffeine and chocolate. I was a long time green tea drinker after I left coffee behind. I allowed green tea to gradually leave my diet when it no longer served me, rather than pushing it away in denial and guilt (self-judgement). I put it down and picked it back up several times, never knowing which one would be the last. I haven't had the craving for it in about a year.

The truth for me is that caffeine is a poisonous stimulant. The energy it "gives" is followed by an energy "crash" as the body uses energy to deal with the toxicity.

Greenman's suggestion to try Rooibos is a good one, and to that I would add try other herbal teas if nothing else than to break up the routine and habit pattern.

My opinion is that teas and other processed items are not as vital or sustaining as fresh, raw plant food. I would avoid caffeine or other stimulants. Just my experience.
