Date: July 12, 2015 01:57PM this confirms exactly what i have claimed in the past, when people abandon a diet due to high triglyerides, etc.
I wonder how many people succumbed to this error. mercola...etc (weight loss/dietary change)...."involves mobilization of fatty acids into the bloodstream. this natural part of the weight-loss process is the reason why cholesterol panels and other lab assessments are best avoided during weight loss and for 4 weeks after weight loss has plateaued. blood drawn during active weight loss can show incresed triglycerides, reduced hdl cholesterol, and even higher blood sugar all of which are transient and correct themselves when the flood of fatty acids subsides. these ill timed test results are often misinterpreted by physicians...."
