Another YouTuber who volunteered at wff 2015 has now posted this on the young whistleblower's video ...

I am halfway through the video, and I volunteered this past year in 2015, and I must say...it is all so true. I didn't personally experience this disrespect, but they absolutely did NOT supply food for the volunteers for the four days leading up to the festival, there is malpractice in the kitchens, and there was absolutely zero compost...not to mention that as volunteers, we were overworked. You are 100% correct. So proud of you for speaking up!"

As I have said many times already - I didn't need to watch the young whistleblower's video as I had seen plenty of health code violations in many youtubers videos of the wff carnival over the years with my own eyes.

I am glad some of the indentured servants who were there are coming to their senses about what went on, and goes on, and are mustering the courage to speak out in spite of the Victoria's and the fresh's of the raw food movement's mouths.

Hopefully Arnstein will come to realize that handling foods that will be served raw by and to so many people is a very serious business and will hire professionals who know what they are doing instead of continuing on in his ridiculous path of expanding the festival even further beyond his abilities in the field.

I had just watched the latest Victoria Arnstein video and the next video YouTube put up on their lineup was that Woodstock Fruit Festival video where Megan Elizabeth interviewed Michael Arnstein in HI in which he was mainly talked about the WFF/Durianrider breakup so I sat through it again.

Here is one bit that he said, from his conversation with Harley, that doesn't sit well with me at all, .... "what we are trying to create together in this community - we're trying to create a new direction." He wanted pioneers who are role models. He said he was ok with the fact that some of them were still eating animal foods because "they were bringing in a good community".

So there you have it. He wants to be the raw vegan community planner. He didn't do well on high fat raw so I guess he wants that gone but having meat eating pioneers is ok with him.

Over the past 7 or so years I've learned it's wise to be very cynical of what motivates community planners...

I watch all the videos and some of his other ones, because I did not know who he was. He comes off as a whiny spoiled brat. Who would go back the next year even if it was free ,if all that happen. I notice he also lied about issues he was having on raw. I can not stand when people do not tell the truth right away they wait until they have another angle to make money. Or they get mad at someone and then tell people the truth.
That is the problem when people are trying to be you tube stars or selling a book. So many sheep people out there.
The stuff people believe because some idiot on you tube says it is good for you, makes me realize how weak minded so many people are.
His boyfriend getting herpes is most likely due to their lifestyle.
If a person eats any animal flesh they should not be running a vegan festival.

In her latest video the WFF director's wife said @ around 17:40 ...

"Is my husband vegan? I can't really answer for him"

She says he was having a B12 issue and he took oysters once and he took shots and pills but there was already too much damage done to the nerves. He got scared, so ... "You can talk to him about it."

Rawveggiemom, I haven't watched his videos beyond the WFF and never heard of most of the people in the saga, including him, before the that video caught my eye in the YouTube sidebar when I was watching something else..

Can you elaborate on this statement?

I was talking about Niko he said he had all these issues and so did his boyfriend. I think it was Why I am No Longer Raw vegan after 3 years of eating 100%.

I did not know about Michael Arnstein and his issues but he should come forward and tell people the truth. His wife should of told the truth and said if he is eating animal flesh not leave it with I will let Michael talk about it.

Niko was promoting raw vegan and he was hiding all his health issues. I do not remember his exact words. You can go through his video. I can not listen to his whiny voice again so I do not want to back and look. he acted like everything was great and now that he is no longer raw vegan he said he had all these problems.

Thanks, rawveganmom, for attempting to clarify.

Were his health issues of the sort that some promoters say will eventually go away once you've detoxed and he was trying to stick with it even though he felt bad because he thought he would eventually be over a detox that wasn't stopping? Please respond with a few specifics to save me from having to go through a whole series of videos just to find something of that nature which would be a waste of time to hunt down.

If Michael Arnstein has had so much damage already to his nerves on his hclf diet he's promoting that even B12 shots and pills weren't enough to help that's worth telling the community about, isn't it? Michael Arnstein, talk about that, please.

Nikos problems were due to not having fully adjusted to the diet and still being in that hungry all the time phase that is temporary. so he was massively overeating on avocados, 10 at a time to try to satisfy himself which makes matters worse and will cause failure guaranteed - he also was undereating on greens which was part of his problem as well..

If there was more understanding and less condemnation, more people would step forward with their health challenges and freely share. That reminds me that Janette Wakelin's husband's b-12 was down after their marathon tour and he increased his greens and it went back to normal. I think he should have supplemented earlier but I think they were trying to prove a point that fruits and veggies/greens are enough. Do I agree? No (he was showing signs of other deficiency). But he proved he could raise B-12 with greens and he is older than Arnstein.

yes it is worth telling about.

on the other hand, michael may understand that he is not responsible for sharing every detail of his life (he did note that he had a b12 problem) and that others should not depend on his reporting it. he understands that people are responsible for themselves and need to acquire information to make decisions and it's pointless and a waste of time to say to people, "you should have told me "!
or "my life depends upon you reporting each and every detail of your life"
better to research and make our own decisions and live our lives and take responsibility for ourselves .

I didn't read that in his book. I picked his brain. (I also only skimmed their books).
He proved it to himself. he wasn't trying to prove it to anyone else. There are bacteria in soil.

As far as other deficiency...that's not appropriate to talk about. It wasn't something he admitted; it was just something I observed.

you mean he had urinary mma tests before /during /after the b12 problem, or do you mean he felt a nerve problem that subsequently went away?

He was tested before and after. It wasn't a feeling. I don't know what exact test his doctor used.
