No Raw Ripe Pineapples

I went on my great pineapple adventure today. Drove all over two towns and visited several stores. Examined at least 300 pineapples - all were either from Costa Rica or Mexico. Every stinking last one of them was unacceptable. I found one pineapple each in two stores that were yellow a third of the way up but when I pressed they were both revealed as over the hill and already fermenting. Barely any scent even with those two.

One checkout clerk, when I asked where all the sweet ripe pineapples were, said "in cans". Lol.

There are no Whole Foods or "healthy food eating specialists" like the pretty boy in this following posted video in my neck of the woods to consult with, either. Lol. I just am not buying, from this video presentation, that those pineapples are anything but shite, too. Look at them, just look at them. Cuts them up (poorly) and what? Maybe three drops of juice.

No it did not. Who purposely buys those hard, juiceless, green immature pineapples anyway? When PeaPod sends me garbage of that caliber I arrange for a refund. How could someone accept that as a good thing to eat if they saw it in person? I don't want to believe people are that ignorant. Maybe they buy them to grill or to bake into cakes, or something. Surely anyone who has experience with eating a raw food diet would find them unacceptable and demand a refund, wouldn't they?

I just visited the one last nearby grocery store in my pineapple adventure. (I took one for the team today as it was a windy -1F out in that parking lot with a wind chill of -25F). There were 60 to 70 pineapples there. Not one ripe one. Not one that had any scent at all. There were a couple with some yellow areas on them but they had started to rot on their bottoms on up past their lower tier of eyes.

Although it was the most ridiculous display of garbage pineapples I've witnessed yet, seeing them was not a complete waste of time because they had both Dole and Chiquita brands together so I could learn that both brands suck equally. The only difference was that on the Chiquita tags had the gall to claim that they were ripe and ready to eat.
