Why does durianrider put cane sugar in his smoothies?

here he makes a green smoothie but with fruit juice and an insane amount of cane sugar. 1000 calories. is this ok to do so long as you go exercise afterward?

Yeah that is pretty insane!

Him and Freelee do a lot of exercise, though I'm not sure what would justify such a horrible combo. Yuck.

That said... I have crashed and burned doing a very long run once on very little carbs- about 30 miles into a very challenging run I felt the weirdest sensation, like my brain was shutting down and I felt really unfocused. Then I scrounged an energy gel from a very kind passing runner, and felt fine smiling smiley Also, you don't want a belly full of food/fibre when you run so maybe as revolting as that smoothie looks, it might just work!
