Too skinny on rawfood?

During my first few years of going raw I lost a lot of weight, and eventually managed to gain it back. I wrote this blog about my experiences, hopefully they will be of some help to anyone going through a similar thing.

What is your situation now. Have you gained the proper weight? And what were the steps?
For me I never seem to gain or loose weight.

Hi Raw Prac,

That's lucky that your weight stays stable smiling smiley Mine is very stable now, I feel like I'm at an ideal weight. I outline the things I did in the blog I linked to. Basically eating a lot more simply and combining food well, that kind of thing.

Hi blankpageblankbook

I outline the steps I took in this blog: [rawfoodscotland.co.uk]

However I was in the opposite position to you; I needed to gain weight. Although, weirdly enough, I would say to do pretty much the same thing to lose weight - eat simply, combine your foods well, etc.

When it comes to weight-loss, I would really stress the power of mindful eating. Pay full attention to your food, look at it while you're eating (no TV or computer), chew every mouthful thoroughly, take your time. And remember exercise is important too.

Good luck smiling smiley
