But as you said in the video, wrong knowledge is the source of the problem.

Bad actions are driven by wrong knowledge.

The original sin has to be with the source.

Society and the legal system understand this.
People who commit crime but are found to be mentally incompetent or disable are not held to the same standard as the regular person. A crime was committed but the person is incompetent to stand trial.

Even at the cosmic level it is the same. When we have acquired some knowledge and do not make use of it, the karmic penalty is more severe compared to the person who does not know. The original sin is with not applying the knowledge we have acquired. The consequences are bad but the healing has to be with fixing the lack of correct knowledge or wisdom problem. Sometimes we may just know things on the surface, the knowledge or wisdom has to be part of us, part of our soul.
