Date: November 09, 2017 10:20PM Blueberries are rich in anthocyanins, flavonoids, and contain pterostilbene, which is structurally similar to resveratrol but more bioavailable due to the presence of two methoxy groups. Pterostilbene has been shown to induce apoptosis (programmed cell death), decrease proliferation, induce cell cycle arrest, inhibit metastasis, and induce autophagy in cancer cells, eliminate cellular waste, and activate anti-aging molecular pathways (mTOR, AMPK, and sirtuins). www.phytopanacea.com Re: The Role of Resveratrol in Achieving Optimal Health
