Pink peppercorns are delicious!!!!!!
They are a kind of pink magenta and have a sweet outer fruit and mildly peppery center. They are so sweet, you'd think they are coated in sugar, but it's natural.

Grown in brazil, the latin name is
Schinus terebinthifolus, which is a different species from black peppercorns.

I will have to try the pink.

I go to Phu Quoc Island every year, On this Island the best pepper in the world is grown there. Nothing compares! night and day.
If you have never used freshly ground pepper you do not really know what pepper tastes like. And if you never had Pho Quoc pepper Well, to bad for you, nothing like it! The outer shell serves to seal in freshness and once this protection is lost, flavor diminishes rapidly. Some claim to notice a difference within 30 minutes, and most agree that much of the aroma and flavor is lost within 30 days of being ground.

When Vietnamese people visit Phu Quoc they tour the pepper farms and buy many kilos of peper to bring back to mainland.
I buy peper for family and friends when I visit states, They are always amazed on how much better the peppers from Phu Quoc are.
The pepper you see in most stores in U.S. is a sad rep for the Pepper plant.
So bland compared. People just dont know in general what pepper should be.

I see that those with nut allergies shouldn't eat them.

I bought some Frontier brand, certified organic. They are amazing.
