Thai vs. Vietnamese vs. Mexican Coconuts

Date: February 25, 2018 02:41AM Thai young coconuts can be very sweet. Initially they were refreshing. I have consumed many hundreds of these over the years. After a while, they were too sweet for me.
I started buying the young mexican coconuts, which have hardly any sweetness. The only drawback is that the meat is thick, so I couldn't use too many. But I finally found my favorite, the young vietnamese coconuts. They have more of a real coconut flavor compared to the thai coconuts and they are not as sweet. They are very refreshing and amazing. I just bought a box with the brand name of Dua Xiem Ben Tre. Lou Corona did a test on the young coconuts and found they don't have chemicals inside. Re: Thai vs. Vietnamese vs. Mexican Coconuts

Oh my God. I envy you. Unfortunately where I live I cannot be that selective on buying young coconuts. Whatever variety I can find I buy. But lately I have been using more mature coconut with the Omega juicer to make creams. Re: Thai vs. Vietnamese vs. Mexican Coconuts

Date: February 25, 2018 07:00AM The Vietnamese have a real love of fruit, as Riverhousebill has shared.
When I visit a vietnamese neighborhood, I stop in a fruit store to get their special fresh sugar cane and kumquat juice made fresh and a frozen durian smoothie. Some of them sell fresh veggie juice. They usually sell exotic fruit. i have bought lychees from Hawaii there. They always have peeled fresh raw jackfruit for sale, which is a fantastic fast food. Finding their young coconuts at last is amazing and wonderful. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
