Date: May 07, 2018 04:51AM Hi Lisa,
Much respect to you for being raw in Scotland. Here in southern california, today I had 2 quarts of vegetable juice, 2 quarts of watermelon-citrus juice (blood orange, sweet lemon, pink grapefruit and 60% watermelon), a salad with fresh herbs, jackfruit, and I am nibbling on strawberries soaking in a fresh juice of organic sugar cane, ginger, kumquat and lemon and ice. Cool Instagram pics! Reminds me... Persimmon and everything blue and purple is on my mind now thanks to looking at all the blueberry and purple foods with courgette noodles that you posted. I just ate a bag of persimmons about a week ago... but they were'nt mushy (which is my fave. I ate them like apples. They are still good though because they weren't in that stage where it tastes like bitter toothpaste. These tasted fantastic even though I like them super ripe but I didn't want to wait a zillion days for them to get ripe. Have you ever made a persimmon pie? I haven't.... yet but its been on my mind. Date: November 16, 2018 01:04AM This is how I like my persimmons. I ended up stirring these ultra ripe ones into a variety of drinks; pies work too. Far superior to any sweetener when these are around.
