Sprouting Beans.. Your Opinions Please.

Hi! I've been away from raw for quite some time and am transitioning back.
I need heavier foods some evenings and want to make hummus and maybe sprouted lentil salads, etc.

What is your opinion on eating sprouted raw beans?
I read so much conflicting info.

I am sure mung beans are ok but I wonder truly about garbanzo and maybe black eye peas.. and black beans?

I am doing great with sprouting seeds but need more help with beans!

Thank you.
So glad to be back here.

You will vomit from too many raw toxic beans, so your own stomach will tell you. It happened to me when I sprouted black beans and made a raw mush. I ate a couple small bowls. Kidney beans are also toxic raw. I personally wouldn't try black eyed peas raw but some high end organic companies freeze green peas really well and they are great raw.

Raw Mung and lentils and garbanzos are safe when sprouted

Thank you so much!!
I love frozen raw English peas... I appreciate your quick reply. I guess i am going to at least give garbanzos a try. So sorry to hear about your experience with black beans! I just got in some lentils from Sprout People I am going to sprout! Love lentil salad and I can't wait to try this.

I have only eaten sprouted raw garbanzo beans either in a raw hummus or mixed into raw falafel balls. I blend them in a food processor with other ingredients.
I heard that falafel balls were originally dried in the desert sun and not deep fried, so they were raw.
