Date: January 12, 2007 06:36PM A friend asked me an interesting question regarding Hemp seeds which I was unable to answer but some of you may know.
In his line of work there is random drug testing and he is afraid to eat Hemp seeds in case they give a false positive for canabis. He asked me if I would know if this were true or not?? I don't know. Anyone out there know? Galileo Re: Hemp Seeds

I took a bunch of drug tests in my lifetime for jobs and even when I was smoking pot it never showed up. God that makes me looks bad huh.. this was alooong time ago.. Being paranoid doesn't help either. lol Re: Hemp Seeds

There is trace amounts of thc in hemp seeds, but nowhere near enough to cause any "high". From this page [www.testpledge.com] "...positive results caused by copious hemp food ingestion are conceivable, yet not likely." And this page: [www.testpledge.com] "... a person would have to eat in excess of 8 tablespoon servings - half of an 8 oz. bottle - of pure hemp oil per day to ingest 600 µg THC, the dose found not to cause confirmed positive urine tests for marijuana with a wide margin of safety." So if you ate a serious amount of hemp, a test could come up positive, but not likely. Rob -- Rob Hull - Funky Raw My blog: [www.rawrob.com] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
