Scores of veterans killed in 'horrific' coronavirus outbreak at Massachusetts elder care facility

The coronavirus has killed at least 80 veterans at an elder care facility in Massachusetts, in what's being described as the deadliest known outbreak at a long-term care facility in the U.S.

An additional 82 veterans and 81 employees have tested positive for the virus at Holyoke Soldiers' Home, and federal officials are trying to determine whether residents were denied proper medical care as deaths continue to climb.

“It’s horrific,” said Edward Lapointe, whose father-in-law lives at the home and had a mild case of the virus. “These guys never had a chance.”

The outbreak has now claimed the lives of nearly one-third of all residents at the veterans' home, with a new fatality being reported almost every day.

These deaths at an eldercare facility/nursing home, etc., just reinforces the fact that these facilities are petri dishes/death traps, which is a big scandal that is being ignored. And I had been planning on checking out state-by-state what percentage of the coronavirus deaths were attributable to these facilities, but I didn't get around to it yet. Because I think that at least 1/4 if not 1/3 of all the 'so-called' Coronavirus Deaths in the US are Nursing Home/Elder Care facilities.

As far as the 'test' - it's a false test - and 'cases' is concerned, that's meaningless. Only the actual Coronavirus Deaths is meaningful.

Yes, 'normal sickness' - the Coronavirus is the Seasonal Flu. The big question that nobody's asking is - Why didn't The World Go Crazy about The Seasonal Flu every other Flu Season? Why now? Why this Flu Season?
