So I go to the library,

big signs everywhere, need to get temperature checked before entering
all the usual distancing rules
limited hours and patrons allowed, etc

library closes down several times during the day for cleaning

all employees masked up
full on lunacy

looks like can't go in without temp check. hmm.

I walk in, woman says, as I go past the temp check table,
need to get temp checked.

I say, no I don't and continue

looked at a few books

walked towards exit

she had called her administrator and they were talking
they ignore me but I say various things on my way out
how they are breaking various laws
and I tell all the employees to take their stupid masks off
looks like the clones of the silence of the lambs.

I later email the admin ask her what shes gonna do next time,
she says, we're following the CDC, OSHA, Etc guidelines


then the usual nonsense about keeping others safe and we have masks for you blah blah blah.

but we WON'T STOP YOU FROM using the library if you don't want temp checked.

well well. another recommendation masquerading as a mandate.

My library in Virginia isn't even open yet. To get books out, you go online and put them on hold. Then between 10:00 and 2:00 you go to the library, park in the parking lot, call them on the phone and tell them you're here to pick up your books, give them your name. Then you drive in front of the door, get out of your car, walk to the automatic doors, they open and there's a table right there with your books on it. A library lady is standing 6 feet back from the table with her mask on of course. You take your books and drive away and the car behind you pulls up to get their books. You drive to the area where the book drop is and deposit the books that you're bringing back. I didn't wear a mask for this charade, but the dumbass woman in the car behind me had her mask plastered to her sanctimonious stupid face.

Who is making all these rules/guidelines up? Is this more government jobs we the taxpayers are paying for - the people who are making up all these stupid rules for all establishments, businesses, institutions, whatever to follow for the next three months - until they decide to do it all over again!

wow, that's crazy.

I sent another email to the city admin who is higher than the library admin, explaining some facts .

she says

"Thank you for your comments. Please stay safe."

me..Stop telling people to stay safe

I went again to the library to pick up some books I had on hold. It's like a military exercise - You park in the parking lot, call them on your phone, give them your name and they look up your books.

Then she said to me: "Drive up to the door. Someone is going to set the books on the table. Once she steps back, you may step up to the table and take your books." I said, "Yes, Master." Or I should have. It's like, are they showing us what it's like to be a slave or something. Or are they teaching us to be robots, blending us with AI?

"Antiquated libraries" - I guess you don't read books. Or I suppose you buy all the books you read because you're so wealthy, but a lot of us go to the library for books because they're free.

And I avoid Electromagnetic Pollution as much as possible, which precludes using Kindle or Nook for hours at a time.

And those few times when we've had a power outage for more than a day, having a book to read is a lifesaver, not to mention when traveling.

I also enjoy the quiet serene atmosphere of the library and the library in my town is new and big and beautiful and cost $9 Million Taxpayer dollars, so yeah, I'm going to use it.

I get the feeling your Permaculture Paradise is going to be loaded with Electronics and EMF/EMR.
