lol - our positioning on hydroxychloroquine reminds me of the Kavanaugh situation -

When Kavanaugh was nominated for Justice of the Supreme Court, we Conservatives knew he had Liberal leanings/was a RINO, so we didn't like him. But then he was falsely accused of rape and was in the process of being destroyed by The Other Side, so we rallied around him as if he was the greatest Conservative ever. (Kavanaugh has since shown his RINO-ness by voting with the Liberals on some occasions, as we feared.)

So it's like we don't like hydroxychloroquine because it's synthetic, a drug, and we hate drugs, and we don't even believe in the Germ Theory - yet when those who are promoting hydroxychloroquine are being destroyed by The Other Side, we're defending them.

right, because I am not defending the parts I don't agree with

so yes I am defending it partially and on principle

even though I don't agree with some of it

it's not all or nothing. whereas sometimes people dismiss everything (often happens here) because of one aspect of what someone says

I had wanted to set the record straight on my use of "We Conservatives". When I say "We", I did not mean and do not mean We On The Board, individuals on the board. I have always meant "We Conservatives" as a monolith, the Conservative Party.
