For the media to relentlessly insist President Donald Trump’s claims of voter fraud or irregularity are baseless shows they are “wilfully misleading the public”, says Sky News contributor Daisy Cousens.

“There’s also this insistence that Trump is losing court case after court case, that’s not true,” Ms Cousens told Sky News host Gary Hardgrave.

“According to Rudy Giuliani they only actually have about three cases on the go.

“The most important point here is that the media is insisting and insisting that Pennsylvania certified its votes and so has Michigan and so is these other states – so that’s it that’s final.

“That’s not the case, votes can be decertified by a court order.”

Ms Cousens said the “buck stops with the legislature”.

“There are legs on this yet, and I am fascinated to see what happens,” she said.

Fired election security official calls fraud claims 'nonsense'; Trump slams system as 'international joke'

Former Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) Director Chris Krebs on Sunday emphatically defended the security of the 2020 election in the wake of his firing by President Trump, as the president slammed the report on Twitter and claimed that U.S. election security is an "international joke."

Krebs appeared on CBS News' "60 Minutes" just under two weeks after his unceremonious removal from his job. At the time of the firing, Trump said in a tweet that a claim Krebs made defending America's election security was "highly inaccurate." In that tweet, Trump claimed "that there were massive improprieties and fraud – including dead people voting, Poll Watchers not allowed into polling locations" and more.

The firing drew immediate backlash from many in Congress, including Republicans, and from Krebs himself, who has repeatedly reiterated in online comments that there is "still no evidence that election systems and votes were manipulated." He doubled down on those claims on Sunday.

"There is no foreign power that is flipping votes. There's no domestic actor flipping votes. I did it right. We did it right. This was a secure election," Krebs said.

He also accused Trump's personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, of "undermining democracy" with repeated comments he has made leveling that there was massive vote fraud in several states.

"It was upsetting because what I saw was an apparent attempt to undermine confidence in the election, to confuse people, to scare people," Krebs said of a press conference in which Giuliani appeared alongside lawyer Sidney Powell, who the Trump campaign has since distanced itself from. "And that was, again, to me, a press conference that I just -- it didn't make sense. What it was actively doing was undermining democracy. And that's dangerous."

Dominion server crash delays recount in Georgia’s Fulton County: report

"Pretty suspicious granted..."

Election officials in Georgia’s Fulton County told a local news outlet Sunday that a newly purchased Dominion Voting Systems mobile server crashed that delayed the state's third recount of the presidential election and technicians from the company “have been dispatched to resolve the issue.”

11Alive.com reported that the Georgia Secretary of State’s office is aware of the efforts to “resolve the problem.”

The report indicated that about 88% of the ballots in the state's largest county have been counted and the recount will resume again on Monday. The deadline to complete the recount is Dec. 2.

Joe Biden defeated President Trump by about 13,000 votes in the Peach State, but Trump and his legal team have challenged the results.

'Host of election oddities' point to 'large-scale coup' to bring down Trump

Sky News host Rowan Dean says the battle for the Oval Office is "still actually heating up".

“Overnight we learned that Pennsylvania looks like going to the Supreme Court,” he said.

One Pennsylvania judge has said the Trump team has a "likelihood to succeed" in giving state legislators the power to choose the members of the electoral college.

“If we are all honest, many of us know deep down that the election was dodgy,” Mr Dean said.

“The sheer scale of the alleged coup, because that's what we're really talking about, leaves many people simply too terrified to believe that the left in their hatred of Trump could really be so corrupt”.

Mr Dean also said a short clip shows President Trump’s vote fall by 20,000 votes on CNN during the calling of the results.

“It is also alleged, but disputed, that 71 precincts out of just one city, Milwaukee have up to three and a half times more votes than voters,” he said.

Mr Dean said reports suggested the machines provided by Dominion were “allegedly calibrated to favour Biden and erase Trump votes.”

“A military information expert has also claimed the voting systems used in the election allow authorized and unauthorized users to cancel votes, shift votes, preload votes and vote blank ballots," he said.

The head of President Trump’s legal team Rudy Giuliani questioned how Pennsylvania officially mailed out 1.8 million mail-in ballots while the Biden victory tally officially includes 2.5 million mail-in votes.

Mr Dean warned against prematurely accepting the US election result set out by the media, pointing to the “whole host of oddities” linked to the election.

“It's not only America that has so much to lose if this election was fraudulently won, but the whole world, us included.”
