Yes, he overdoes it. There is a grain of truth to all his articles, but a grain is not justification for the fact that he seems to be making it up as he goes.

However, as to "doom and gloom" in general - well, things don't look good. The reality is that the beauty of nature's perfection isn't enough to keep us healthy in a fallen world. We still have to organize our societies and try to run them. There are demonic "people" running the show behind the scenes.

Jake Angeli, 32, was seen posing in the chair occupied moments earlier by Vice President Mike Pence at the beginning of the election certification proceedings, which were halted when the riot began.

The shirtless conspiracy theorist – known as the "Q Shaman" – wore red, white and blue face paint as he brandished a spear from which hung an American flag.

In 2020, Angeli told The Arizona Republic that he wears the headgear and paint to attract attention as he talks about QAnon, which claims that a vast network of powerful people are behind a large pedophile ring — including the viral "pizzagate" conspiracy that falsely claimed one such ring ran out of a Washington, DC, pizza shop.

In February 2020, he worked the crowd outside a rally in Phoenix for President Trump, holding up a sign that read, "Q sent me," the news outlet reported.

"The snowball has been rolling and it’s only getting bigger," Angeli said at the time. "We’re the mainstream now."

Angeli told a reporter from the Globe and Mail of Toronto that police had stopped trying to block him and other Trump supporters and let them into the Capitol, according to The Arizona Republic.

He said police politely asked him to leave, according to the Canadian journalist.

Angeli, who took part in protests of the Arizona election results, also attended rallies to reopen businesses shuttered by the state government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the Republic reported.

He said he learned much of what he knows through online research – which included the 1991 book "Behold a Pale Horse" by Arizona writer William Copper – that involved shadowy groups such as the Illuminati, Trilateral Commission and Bilderberg group.

"At a certain point, it all clicked in a way. Oh, my God. I see now the reality of what’s going on," he said, adding that the Q movement validated beliefs he had held as far back as 2016.

Barnett, as of midday Thursday, does not appear to be facing any charges related to the storming of the U.S. Capitol Wednesday, which resulted in four deaths and at least 70 arrests. Demonstrators are still being sought by police.

The 60-year-old from Gravette went viral Wednesday after images purportedly showed him sitting in a chair behind a desk in Pelosi’s office.

"I sat down here in my desk. I’m a taxpayer. I’m a patriot. That ain’t her desk – we loaned her that desk," he continued. "And she ain’t appreciating the desk, so I thought I would sit down and appreciate the desk."

Barnett had announced on one of his Facebook pages late last month that he would be attending Wednesday’s pro-Trump rally in the nation’s capital, according to The Washington Post.

"This is OUR COUNTRY!!!," the newspaper said he wrote on Dec. 28. "Can you give one day from the Internet or work or whatever to be active," adding "get the f--- up people. Please STAND!!! If not now, when?"

The account also featured images of Barnett and others protesting the 2020 presidential election result outside the Capitol building in Little Rock, Ark., the Post reported.

In one post, he wrote he "came into this world kicking and screaming, covered in someone else’s blood" and "I’m not afraid to go out the same way," the newspaper added.

The Washington Post reported that another post on an account purportedly operated by Barnett criticized Pelosi for using "white nationalist" as a "derogatory term."

"I am white. There is no denying that. I am a nationalist. I put my nation first. So that makes me a white nationalist," the newspaper says he wrote, although the posting could not be independently verified and the accounts appear to have since been taken offline.

At a "Stop the Steal" rally in Bentonville, Ark., in November, KNWA broadcasted video of Barnett holding a "Banana Republic USA" sign.

"Hey if you don’t like it, send somebody out to me but I ain’t going down easy," he told the station that day.

Ashli Babbitt was previously married to Timothy McEntee, with whom she served in the U.S. Air Force. They filed for divorce in May 2019.

In statements Thursday, he depicted his former wife as one who was "never afraid to speak her mind," "loud and opinionated, but caring, thoughtful, loving," as well as a woman who "loved America with all her heart."

Her brother-in-law, Justin Jackson, similarly characterized Babbitt to NBC7 as "extremely passionate about what she believed in," and one who deeply loved the United States.

Much of that zest and vehement Trump advocacy was reflected in her Twitter account. She used the display name "CommonSenseAsh" and described herself as a veteran, Libertarian, and Second Amendment supporter in the biographical section.

Her page was peppered with allusions to the fringe, right-wing extremist conspiracy theory movement known as QAnon, often retweeting its accounts and donning a Q-inspired shirt.

"Nothing will stop us….they can try and try and try but the storm is here and it is descending upon D.C. in less than 24 hours….dark to light!" she wrote in one post, and in others touted #StoptheSteal retweets as well as calls for California Gov. Gavin Newsom to be recalled.

And in what would turn out to be one of her last posts on the platform, Babbitt responded to another Twitter user who vowed that they were "landing in D.C." to "do God's work" and "Save the Republic," that she too would "be there."

In the wake of pro-Trump supporters storming the Capitol Wednesday, several Republican allies of the President are attempting to shift blame to supposed left-wing activists, namely Antifa.

Reps. Mo Brooks, Paul Gosar and Matt Gaetz have all promoted the idea that left-wing extremist group Antifa snuck in with Trump supporters during Wednesday's rally to provoke the mob.

"Evidence growing that fascist ANTIFA orchestrated Capitol attack with clever mob control tactics," Brooks, an Alabama Republican, tweeted Thursday morning.
"This has all the hallmarks of Antifa provocation," Gosar, an Arizona Republican, wrote Wednesday.

Gaetz was more specific Wednesday night when he cited, on the House floor -- and to loud boos from his Democratic colleagues -- an article from the Washington Times, which has since been removed from their website. The article said that a facial recognition firm, XRVision, "claims Antifa infiltrated Trump protesters who stormed Capitol."

The Florida congressman began by saying he didn't "know if the reports are true" but went on to cite the Washington Times article, saying it contained "compelling evidence" that Antifa had infiltrated the Trump-supporting rioters' ranks.

"(S)ome of the people who breached the Capitol today were not Trump supporters," Gaetz said. "They were masquerading as Trump supporters and, in fact, were members of the violent terrorist group antifa."

Facts First: None of this is true. The firm cited by the Washington Times has told two news outlets the story is false. Furthermore, right-wing extremists have been identified in the crowd that stormed the Capitol and CNN has, as of the publishing of this article, seen no evidence whatsoever of a left-wing infiltration of the mob.

An attorney representing XRVision told both the Daily Beast and Buzzfeed News that the reporting from the Washington Times was wrong and that the company had instead identified two Neo-Nazis and a supporter of the radical right-wing conspiracy QAnon, not members of Antifa.

XRVision and the Washington Times did not respond to CNN's requests for comment prior to publication.

"XRVision takes pride in its technology's precision and deems the Washington Times publication as outright false, misleading, and defamatory," XRVision said in a statement to The Daily Beast. "Our attorney is in contact with the Washington Times and has instructed them to 'Cease and Desist' from any claims regarding sourcing of XRVision analytics, to retract the current claims, and publish and (sic) apology."

Man who led rioters up Capitol stairs identified as Iowan in local news reports

A man captured in several videos and photographs at Wednesday's pro-Trump siege of the U.S. Capitol has been identified in local news reports as 41-year-old Doug Jensen.

Jensen, a Des Moines, Iowa, native, was seen wearing a QAnon T-shirt depicting an eagle and the conspiracy theory motto, "Where we go one, we go all."

In a dramatic video posted by HuffPost's Igor Bobic, Jensen is one of the first in the mob to push past a Capitol police officer and into the building.

The Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police posted a photo of Jensen in a call for information regarding people involved in the invasion.

Jensen has an active presence on social media and his Twitter and Facebook pages show multiple pictures of himself from the day.

"You like my shirt?" he wrote, referring to the QAnon T-shirt; others replied that the FBI might "like it and come check it out personally."

According to reporting from KCCI-TV, Jensen is a laborer at Forrest & Associate Masonry. Company CEO Richard Felice told the outlet that his firm does not agree with Jensen's conduct.

A photo from inside the Capitol showed a bearded man in the crowd. Attorney L. Lin Wood later tweeted the image next to a separate photo showing the bearded man next to Heimbach. It was unclear where or when the second photo was taken.

Heimbach, who is in his late 20s and lives in the southern town of Paoli, has been characterized by the Southern Poverty Law Center as a neo-Nazi though he once said he was abandoning the movement. He has been in the public spotlight before.

In 2015, Heimbach founded the Traditionalist Worker Party -- a political party Heimbach said was designed to "create a European-styled nationalist movement" -- with his stepfather-in-law, Matt Parrott.

In 2016, the Towson University alumnus was ordered to serve jail time for violating the terms of his two-year probation after harassing a protester at one of President Trump's rallies in 2016.
