Now the CDC Gods are declaring how the 'fully vaccinated' may conduct themselves. angry smiley

CDC releases new Covid guidelines for fully vaccinated people

The best news? Fully vaccinated grandparents can visit safely with unvaccinated grandchildren.

People who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 may safely gather with small groups from other households without wearing masks or physical distancing, even if those people have not yet had their shots, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Monday.

This is the first federal public health guidance aimed at resuming some kind of normal activity for people who have received both doses of the Pfizer or the Moderna shots, or one shot of the single-dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson. A person is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after the final dose, giving the body time to build antibodies against the virus.

"As more Americans are vaccinated, a growing body of evidence now tells us that there are some activities fully vaccinated people can do," CDC director Dr. Rochelle Walensky said during a White House Covid-19 briefing Monday.

The latest science, Walensky said, suggests that fully vaccinated people can congregate indoors with other fully vaccinated people, without wearing face coverings or practicing physical distancing, the agency said. What's more, fully vaccinated people may gather with a small group, such as another household, even if that household has not been vaccinated.

"For example," the CDC wrote in a statement, "fully vaccinated grandparents can visit indoors with their unvaccinated healthy daughter and her healthy children without wearing masks or physical distancing, provided none of the unvaccinated family members are at risk of severe COVID-19." Those at high risk include people over age 65, or those with underlying health problems such as heart disease or cancer.

For everyone else, "this is very welcome guidance," said Dr. Richard Besser, president of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and a former acting director of the CDC. "This opens the door for grandparents to meet with their children and grandchildren without masks, indoors, for a nice group hug."

The new guidelines do not, however, suggest that fully vaccinated people can go back to life as it was in 2019.

In public or around others who are vulnerable to Covid-19 complications, mitigation measures should remain status quo, the CDC said. Keep up with hand washing. Wear masks in public places, and continue to adhere to physical distancing guidelines. Avoid crowded areas. Seek out Covid-19 testing if symptoms develop.

What's more, vaccination does not mean people can move freely about the country. The CDC said people should continue to follow their local health department travel recommendations.

"I want to stress that we continue to have high levels of virus around the country, and more readily transmissible variants have now been confirmed in nearly every state," Walensky said. "While we work to quickly vaccinate people more and more each day, we have to see this through."

Crime Against Humanity -

Children and babies as young as 6 months are going to be in vaccine trials. Both Moderna and Johnson & Johnson will test babies and kids now.

Moderna to test COVID-19 vaccine on young children, babies

Moderna announced Tuesday it is beginning a study of its COVID-19 vaccine in children younger than 12 - one that will include babies as young as 6 months.

The announcement comes exactly a year after the first adult received a test dose of the shot, created at the National Institutes of Health. It's now being used across the U.S. and in multiple other countries.

Moderna also has tested the vaccine in 12- to 17-year-olds but hasn't yet released the findings. The study in younger children will be more complex, because researchers need to determine whether to use smaller doses than in adults and adolescents.

The study aims to eventually enroll about 6,750 children in the U.S. and Canada. That's after a phase-in portion to determine the best dose to test in children age 2 and older and the right dose in those younger than 2.

OMG - in the video the spokesperson said they've "had over 5,000 responses from parents with over 9,500 children signed up as interested in the trial." They're "really enthusiastic that people are showing their willingness to help out the science and protect their kids."

How stupid are these people!

Johnson & Johnson to Test COVID Vaccine on Infants

Days after the FDA approved J&J’s COVID vaccine for emergency use, the company announced plans to test the vaccine on newborns, despite the vaccine’s risks and strong evidence that COVID poses virtually no risk to healthy children.

And you can be sure these mothers who are signing up their babies for the vaccine are so proud of themselves and will be bragging their asses off to everyone. Probably doing it to get attention sad smiley

Yay for Florida Governor REPUBLICAN Ron DeSantis!

When I hear News like this, I'm happy that I'm on THE RIGHT!

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says he will ban coronavirus 'vaccine passports' in the state

* Gov. Ron DeSantis said Biden's plans for a national vaccine passport system are "completely unacceptable."

* Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said Monday he will ban vaccine passports.

* It comes after reports that President Biden was pushing efforts to develop a national program.

'We are not supporting doing any vaccine passports in the state of Florida,' DeSantis said.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said he plans to issue an executive order forbidding businesses from requiring so-called vaccine passports across the state.

DeSantis said at a news conference on Monday that he would introduce "an executive function" designed to prevent businesses from refusing to serve customers who were unable to prove they had been vaccinated, while seeking support from the Republican legislature to enshrine the act into law.

DeSantis was speaking after reports that the Biden administration was coordinating efforts by private companies and federal agencies to develop a plan that will allow people to prove they have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to gain access to some businesses, offices, or restaurants.

"We are not supporting doing any vaccine passports in the state of Florida," he said Monday, in a news conference broadcast by news station 10 Tampa Bay.

"It's completely unacceptable for either the government or the private sector to impose upon you the requirement that you show proof of vaccine to just simply be able to participate in normal society.

"You want to go to a movie theater. Should you have to show that? No. You want to go to a game, should you have to show that? No. You want to go to a theme park? No. We're not supportive of that."

Vaccine passports could be used to allow people entry to sports bars, restaurants, and music venues, and to travel abroad.
