Date: May 02, 2021 05:24AM Everything Mencken says below applies today and ties into what Plato says at the end of this post showing that nothing ever changes because the Masses do NOT have a mind of their own.

Mencken Mencken's "led to safety" reminds me of Plato's "This and no other is the root from which a tyrant springs; when he first appears he is a protector.” Is it possible for the Masses to ever Wake Up and realize these simple words from Plato? “Those who tell the stories rule society.” Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
