Date: April 04, 2022 03:45PM Rod Serling from Twilight Zone. Which is what we're living in now - Or a Black Mirror episode. I did see a Black Mirror show that had the Social Credit System where you had to be A Statist - in lock-step with the Official Government Narrative - or you were ostracized from society. The main character ended up in jail. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/04/2022 03:50PM by Jennifer. Re: LOL

Date: October 11, 2023 06:35AM Maybe there's 78 year olds who do eat vegetables every day and are "doing fine" as well.
By the way, most people who can get up in the morning and walk to the bathroom unassisted consider themselves to be "healthy". And of course they never tell you that they cannot get dressed and go to work without guzzling a couple of cups of coffee first. And, further, that they are drinking coffee all day long at work. How do I know? I have worked in quite a few offices (temporary jobs - maybe about 75 different places) and I have never met one person who doesn't have a cup of coffee on his/her desk. Re: LOL

Date: October 14, 2023 10:37PM Re the 2nd link about red meat consumption. My brother had (still has? I dunno) some stomach problems for quite some time and was told by a M.D. to stop eating so much red meat. He didn't even have to ask him about his diet; he just assumed it was red-meat related and my brother apparently did not deny it. So, sometimes M.D.s are useful. Re: LOL

I hate the time change situation. It screws up my eating and sleeping schedule. Just leave it at the regular standard time that we've had since time immemorial. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
