Public Opinion Strategies recently conducted a national survey of registered voters, March 25?28, 2022.

A total of 1000 registered voters nationally were interviewed online, and the survey has a credibility interval of ± 3.53 percentage points.

KEY FINDINGS

“Don’t say gay?” When Americans are presented with the actual language of the new Florida law, it wins support by more than a two?to?one margin. Voters across partisan lines strongly support the new Florida law after being provided with the actual language of the bill: “Classroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in Kindergarten through third grade or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

By a 67%?21% margin, Americans say the discussion of gender identity is inappropriate for children in kindergarten through 3rd Grade, including 88% of Republicans, 68% of Independent voters, and a plurality of Democrats (47%).

Fewer than 10% of Americans want to see gender removed from birth certificates. While just 8% of Americans believe states should remove gender from birth certificates, fully 79% of voters do NOT, including 93% of Republicans, 79% of Independent voters, and 67% of Democrats.

Finally, by more than a two?to?one margin, Americans believe transgender athletes should play on sports teams that match their birth gender. By a 60%?24% margin, voters believe “transgender athletes should only be allowed to play on sports teams that match their birth gender.” While Republican (85%?7%) and Independent voters (60%?23%) largely agree, Democratic voters aren’t as

Lia Thomas may be a FtMtF. Many of the open trans celebrities are actually double-trans, like Chaz Bono (MtFtM) or Caitlin Jenner (FtMtF).

That's one I've never heard of - FtMtF. I'll have to look it up. Off the top of my head, I think it would be a female who transitioned to a male and then realized they made a mistake, and went back to being female.

Illinois School District Teaching Preschoolers About Gender Identity, Sexual Orientation in New Curriculum

A school district in Illinois is teaching children as young as preschoolers about sexual orientation and gender identity.

The dedicated curriculum is part of Evanston/Skokie School District 65’s LGBTQ+ Equity Month, which is one of several special units the school features, Fox News reports.

“Throughout the month, educators and preK-8th grade students will broaden their understanding of identity of self and others, allyship, family structures, vocabulary, gender expression, stereotypes, colors on the intersectional pride flag, and the historical contributions of LGBTQ+ people. Each grade level engages in a selection of these topics,” the district said in an announcement to families.

The district posted details of lessons for each grade level on its website.

Pre-schoolers will learn about the pride flag, and will be introduced to vocabulary words including gay, lesbian, non-binary and queer.

Kindergarteners will learn about the concept of transgender.

First graders learn about pronouns, including “ze,” “zir,” and “hir,” as well as “social justice standards.”

Second graders will learn about “sex assigned at birth” and how that is “different from gender identity.”

By eighth grade, students will learn about “recent bills that aim to limit transgender athletes from participating in school sports” and “actions they can take about these bills.”

The school district said that beginning next school year, “the learning associated with the LGBTQ+ unit of study will be interwoven into our school curriculum.”
