That's good in theory, but in my opinion, having spent the MAJORITY of my time in WILD nature over the years is that strict vegans would quickly die of starvation if they had to obtain their food from Nature without modern farming and distribution... Yes, I guess you may be right. However, as far as protein goes, if you live in certain areas, there's filberts (hazelnuts). At least there was where I used to live. Re: I despise the human species except for animal rights supporters.

Date: May 06, 2022 07:54PM Well, if persons insisting on being 100% raw were headed for the hills after total civilization collapse, they'd (sort of) have it made in the shade compared to their fellow humans who love cooked food. Re: I despise the human species except for animal rights supporters.

I think I'd have a fun time and be over fed when I have to go hit the forest and stay there. Now to stay all raw, that'd be harder but not impossible. In survival mode I wouldn't try to stay entirely raw. When the oaks are drooping acorns spend full time picking them up by the bushels, dry by a fire and store in a dry rock shelter. Then husk and mill them a little at a time, leach the tannic acid in a stream and enjoy the nutritious food. Add all manner of edible weeds and tree leaves and slippery elm bark and there's oodles of berries to pick and dry by a fire in their season. The food is everywhere out there. But that's where I live in TN USA. Other locations have an entirely different selection of things and sometimes way less. Re: I despise the human species except for animal rights supporters.

Absolutely correct. Survival would hinge on just where you are. One thing for sure: determined meat lovers would, in short order, decimate anything that flies, walks, slithers, hops or crawls. In no time flat, they'd have to - horror of horros - look for plant food. LOL. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
