Really Raw Dates?

Date: May 31, 2024 05:59PM Does anybody know where to get Organic Raw Dates right now? I was getting them from three places in California. One of them ran out of dates - because of the wet weather out there this year, and the other two I happen to call and inquire about their dates and they both said they froze their dates. One was like flash-freezing and the other was frozen to a certain temperature for like a certain amount of time.
Anyway, I'm a stickler about a few things concerning eating Raw - like No Salt and No Braggs Aminos or Coconut Aminos - and one of them is that I don't consider raw food that's been frozen as 'Live' anymore, so I don't really eat frozen raw food. Also I was getting raw dates from The Date People - I was getting their dates for years - but they also recently ran out. Coachella and Medjool Days are the two date people who freeze their dates. Date: June 02, 2024 09:47AM For me dates a just too sweet to be eaten in large quantities so I do not bother to search for raw organic dates. Just 3 to 5 is enough, not even every day.
Brian Clement and Gabriel Cousens are right on this one, no fruit. Too sweet, no water in them. I go for fruits in season that I can buy locally. Now we have watermelon, apples, grapes. They are sweet but plenty of water and fresh. Organic Medjool Dates - Anna and Sarah [annaandsarah.com] Coachella’s Best Organic Dates [coachellasbestdates.com] Edited 2 time(s). Date: June 02, 2024 05:00PM Thanks, RP. Yeah, I only two or three dates at a time, too. I love the Wet Pack or Rutab dates.
I make a really delicious raw Date Cake. With a cashew cream frosting - that I sweeten with dates. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
