Date: July 08, 2024 07:26AM Hi all, finally got approved, as have been waiting so long that I'd forgotten about it... I was a member before they close down about 10 or more years ago under the pseudonym, 'GEO'.
Anyway, I'm happy to be here again; although, under another name, as the new registration wouldn't allow me to use my old one... Re: Hello all

Many were engaged in the living and rawfood path, they understood the importance of that life style but could not sustain it for a long time. We are from all corners bombarded with images of the Standard American Diet of pizzas, cakes, burgers, sugar, etc... most just went back to that life style. It's too delicious compared to a cup of raw spinach or kale juice. ' Re: Hello all

What the heck do you do when some (deep down) hostile family members bring over some incredibly rich, chocolaty, multi-layered, supersweet, decorated desserts from an expensive bakery? In my case you eat it in front of them, not all of it, and then put the rest in the refrig. "Oh, come on! Live a little! There's nothing wrong with this" blah blah. I agree, there is nothing wrong with treating yourself. But when they WANT to see you eat this way and they could just as soon bring over some home made oatmeal cookies, maybe... Re: Hello all

Exactly. And daily, our resolve to eat raw and living food breaks down, and it becomes harder to grow the sprouts, make the green juice, clean the juice machine especially when as you said a supersweet decorated dessert is waiting to be eaten. But the good thing about life is that there is always a small group of people who defy the odds and remain committed, and no outside noise will deter them from reaching their goals of the ideal healthy, disease free body. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Matthew 7:14 Re: Hello all

Date: July 23, 2024 05:34PM There are many references in the bible to the narrow road that leads to life.
"For many are called, but few are chosen.” Matthew 22:14 "Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able" Luke 13:24 The one I prefer is the story of the ten men with leprosy. Christ healed them all but only one came back to say thank you, one out of 10. Luke 17:11-19 The narrow door symbolizes that everything for our physical, mental, and spiritual health requires discipline, attention, and focus which many do not have. It is usually one of ten. 9 out of ten will give up on raw and living food. 9 out of ten will leave the raw food forum, in general. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
