Cocoa Powder?

Date: February 10, 2007 05:05PM Is cocoa powder raw? I'm fairly new to all this, and I just got a dehydrator for cheap at goodwill...so I'm making some raw cookies . I haven't eaten anything even close to junk food for probably about a year because I made the choice not to, but I really want to try some raw cookies. So can anyone tell me if cocoa powder is raw? And if so, does it taste like chocolate or what? I ask because I had someone mislead me and tell me that carob was just like chocolate without caffiene and well...I was later told otherwise after I expressed an EXTREME dislike for carob (as in I was sick to my stomach for hours).
Thanks in advance for letting me know ____________________________________ ~Christi~ Natural Living Info AP/NL mama to Jacob 10/25/2006 Re: Cocoa Powder?

(Although I used cooked cocoa powder for quite a while when I couldn't get hold of raw stuff and I don't think using a small amount is much to worry about.) Rob -- Rob Hull - Funky Raw My blog: [www.rawrob.com] Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
