Date: February 24, 2007 09:45AM Electrical equipment does cost a lot more than the US equivelent. Don't really know why, that's just the way it is. Sales tax is quite high, it's 17.5% in the UK.

Date: February 25, 2007 12:33AM I use a L'Equip blender, it's the same power rating as the Vitamix, but the jug is a bit smaller and the build quality is nowhere near as good as the Vitamix, the saving grace is the price of £119.
I get equipment wholesale to sell on our shop, no use if you only want one. (I just looked at the price of Vitamixs in the US, I can't beleive how cheap they are!
