Thanks for the compliment tristani!

I do add some nuts and seeds into my diet, but not everyday. Lots of fruit with some veggies. I'm not a heavy juicer either. Love making smoothies! I'm one of those who think there is more benefit from the whole fruit or veggie. Mostly just grabbing fruits and veggies whole. I'll just snack on an apple or mango or pear.

I also eat avocado alot because my boyfriend LOVES them and always wants to split one. Don't know if that has anything to do with it but hey, ya never know.

Asnerek, I don't think goregous skin is a shallow reason for being raw -- my skin problems were certainly one of my motivators, and skin is an organ after all, whatever it is doing, so are your organs on the inside.

For me these days,
My love affair with sweet fruit!
Love,
Uma

Angelissima -
You're in the right place for advice! I would suggest starting a topic on the diary list or meeting place for support - like you're own little cozy spot on this forum.

<I tend to eat a lot of nuts, seeds and dry fruit at night.>
that *might* be part of the issue. starting out you may find it more cleansing to do more fruit and less 'heavy' foods.

just my two cents

Welcome and best of luck. We're all here to support you!
