edible flora ?

Date: April 15, 2007 10:13PM hey out there i live in florida, and ive run out of groceries and there is no possible way for me 2 get sum anytim soon,, so all ive eaten for the past couple of days are old pumpkin seeds, yep,, so i was walking around outside and all the plant leaves and stuff look soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
goood!!!:} can anybody tell me if its ok to eat leaves of oak or magnolia,??? i kno this sounds crazy, but im desperate!!  Re: edible flora ?

Date: April 15, 2007 10:49PM mmmmm so i went ouside nibbled some leaves off of different trees and found sum, so ive made a lovely salad with rosepetals and its delicious,, ai settled on mostly crate myrtle leaves theyre not so bad :] Re: edible flora ?

SOME OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS ARE ALSO THE MOST DEADLY. Here are some good edibles: Nasturtium flowers, buds purslane is very yummy I love cattail, violets are yummy...google before eating lol Re: edible flora ?

Date: April 15, 2007 11:01PM i did haha, i couldnt really find nething 4 my area so i just nibbled and then spit out nething that tasted bad,, i only ate crate myrtle leaes, and leaves frum my fruit trees lol
