Hi everyone,
I was wondering what is great source for B12 in alive or raw foods.
I normally just listen to my body, however I would like to know the answer to this one..I eat mostly what's green&leafy, fruits, hemp, almonds..but no honey at all.

Many thanks!!
I tried to search the board, but no results and the same with my search online.

Is it tha Maca root powder rich in B's?

If you don't wash your vegetables you probably get enough B12, lol...

A little dirt never hurt nobody.

Apparently the E3Live supplement contains all the B vitamins. Haven't tried it yet, but many people swear by that stuff.

Also, if you aren't 100% raw, nutritional yeast is a very dependable source of B-12.

And dirt winking smiley.

Given that I don't drink rain water or tend to eat food with dirt on it I take a supplement about once a week.
If you look at the nutritional content of Banana's they supposibly contain B12, is this not true. Or perhaps it is only present in non-hybridised banana's?

How would you even know if you WEREN'T getting enough B12? It is a complete non-concern for me. I have been vegan 3 years and have not had one "symptom" of B12 deficiency. I think it is one of those myths that people worry about and think their problems stem from, but in reality the problem comes from other causes.

You should worry about eating enough variety of fruits/veggies/etc smiling smiley and having fun while getting healthy.

G.T. Dave's Kombucha (at Whole Foods) when sweetened with different flavors (grape, cranberry, etc.) has juice added which equates to the 5% you were talking about in another thread. You can buy original which is straight kombucha; also, you can buy the varieties with puree'd fruit instead of the juices. Strawberry is puree, as is mango.

It's not something I worry about because it can take 20 years to become deficient and then its cureable by a shot.
