Right now I just throw them in as they are with plastic bag and all [www.youtube.com] Re: how to store food in my fridge?

I also used a regular lettuce crisper (you know that round....head-of-lettuce size containers......that had slats on the bottom to keep the greens from sitting on water. That worked well too. But basically I got used to just trying to buy what I needed for a couple of days...so the greens stayed pretty fresh. Just my experiences.

I just had to throw away beets and spinach that I bought on sale a couple days ago because they were all soggy and just gross. I put them in the bottom "crisper" drawer of the fridge. Left the spinach in a bag and just put the beets in the other draw with no bag. I don't even know if they're edible like that and I didn't know what to do with them either. lol. Edited 1 time(s).
