food shopping in San Francisco

Date: April 28, 2007 04:10PM Hey guys... I'm here in San Francisco for the morning and early afternoon... I head down to San Jose later afternoon. Can anyone tell me a good place to grocery shop in San Francisco? I have a vehicle and will just throw it in our cooler and bring down to San Jose. the only places I can find down in San Jose online are Whole Foods... and I don't feel like shopping there. I'd rather go to a co-op or something.
