vegan looking into raw - any suggestions?

Date: May 17, 2007 12:37AM I've been vegan for three years now (I went vegan for ethical reasons) and now would like to become even more healthy by adopting some new raw foods and meals into my menu. I'd love some suggestions on recipes or foods which people especially liked when they "become raw", either especially tasty or easy or both. I have no intention of ever becoming completely raw, but I like the idea of eating more raw foods. I already own a food dehydrator but have never used it. Any tips? Date: May 17, 2007 12:44AM You can eat more raw without buying any special equipment: simply eat more fresh fruits and salads.
The more calories you can get from fruit and vegetables, the healthier you will be. Raw foods that require special equipment are less nutritious than whole fresh raw ripe organic fruits and vegetables. This is because any processing will lower the nutrient content of the whole foods. Check out the recipe forum on this website or the recipe section of the living-foods.com site.
