how should it be done?

what needs to be soaked and sprouted?

and..

should it be done before each time you eat it or can you just soak and sprout once and eat it whenever you want after

im sort of new to this raw food thing and so far ive been eating raw but not raw "living" foods and i want to have the full effect so id really appreciate some answers! cheers

Coppola:

-Sprouting can help make some foods easier to digest by inactivating protective enzymes and converting some starches to more digestible sugars. It can be done by soaking for 4-12 hours (depending on size of seed)......then rinsing three times a day until the seed sprouts. Once it has sprouted, you can store them for a limited time....about as long as regular greens...before eating. Hope this is helpful.
